Report for Vidamora.com review

Vidamora.com seems to be a dating website that users can experience for free. We were skeptical at first, but didn’t manage to find any proof of a scam during our time on the portal. Furthermore, there were no concerning texts in the legal disclosure. We tried looking for online reviews but couldn’t find any negative comments about the website from users. After evaluating everything in detail, it seems like CDW International Inc, from Sherbrooke, in Quebec, might be a reliable and free dating service after all.

The landing site looks modern, and the members that are displayed on the page look quite believable. Some of the profiles are in French, whereas others are in English. The website is geared partly towards a Québécois audience, but there are also plenty of profiles from the West Coast in the United States. The platform promises to be safe and free to use. In fact, we noticed that the website is financed through advertising. Apparently, the system is proactive and suggests compatible matches according to the user’s interests and passions.

For this review, we created a simple empty profile with no bio or profile picture. Unlike the many fake dating sites, we reviewed so far, we weren’t flooded with messages. This is what one would expect from a real dating site. Moreover, the profiles looked authentic, and the descriptions and photos came across as believable, so there was no indication of a fake chat rip-off. However, when navigating through the site, we were often interrupted by intrusive ads, but this is what you could reasonably expect from a free dating site.

Details on the Vidamora.com review

The online dating portal Vidamora.com could be a decent option if you’re looking for a free dating site to use. Of course, this comes with some inconveniences, as we will explain later on in this review. The portal is managed by an operator called CDW International Inc, from Sherbrooke, Quebec. We don’t have any prior experience with them, but so far so good.

Free to use, but comes with some annoyance

Vidamora.com promises that it is free to use, and they will never ask for your credit card details. This seems to be the case. We kept searching for payment methods, but we didn’t find anything that would imply it. This is great news, as the operator appears to be truthful. However, we had so many negative experiences in this industry that we know it is always a good idea to be cautious. Even more so, when getting to know people online, it is wise to take your time.

Of course, the website is free, but it needs to make money somehow. In this case, the portal bases its income on ad revenue. This means that the navigation of the site is sometimes rather annoying because the presence of ads can be inconvenient. This is the price to pay if you don’t want to use a paid dating service. It is a trade-off between ease of use and economy. With fewer resources, it is also likely that their matchmaking algorithm won’t be top-notch.

Additional services

The website also features a blog with articles about how to improve your dating life. There is also a swipe right/swipe left function, recognizable from other well-known websites. You can add your interests and data to your profile, as well as your preferences. The system will suggest suitable matches based on your input. Finally, you can create a list with your favorite members, so you may look them up as often as you want. If you want to take the first step, you could leave a heart on their profile to let them know you want to meet them.

The conclusion from our Vidamora.com review

Vidamora.com is a free dating website that seems genuine. We found no proof of a rip-off or a fake chat scam. The users mostly look genuine, and there is no feature to pay for. The portal collects income from ad revenue, which sometimes makes navigating the site annoying when ads keep popping up. This is our first review of the Québécois company known as CDW International Inc, and we are pleased to say it doesn’t look like a scam. Still, users should always be careful when meeting people online.
