We recently discovered the operator of TrueHookups.com for the first time. We refer to Force Vision Ltd, a company based in Ashford, in the UK. Our previous review has revealed that they implement a fake chat scam to rip off the users and lure them into buying a paid membership. Today we will prove that even TrueHookups.com uses the same questionable techniques.

The landing page of TrueHookups.com informs the readers that the registration is free of charge. They promise that it will give them access to a huge database of open-minded people ready to try exciting experiences, and to arrange steamy dates. The design of the page looks quite attractive and modern, thanks to a provocative background picture and an appealing combination of colors. At first sight, it appears to be a legitimate dating website where it should not be difficult to find somebody to live out our wildest fantasies.

But right after we complete our registration, we become aware of the first lie. As opposed to what we read on the homepage, the platform is not free. Most of the features are subject to payment, including the most basic ones, such as sending a private message to other members. A non-fee based membership is basically useless because it does not allow the user to get in touch with anybody. This means that a user cannot organize any meeting whatsoever.

A waste of money

Anybody who decides to purchase a VIP membership will have to face an even bigger problem. The profiles that they will be getting messages from might not be real. This is confirmed by a small note at the bottom of the sign-up form, one of those things that people tend to accept and sign, without even reading.

TrueHookups.com reserves the right to send communications to its members from computer generated profiles. This system is called, in technical jargon, a chatbot, a piece of software designed to mimic a real human conversation. But since a user is not aware that they are not talking to a real person, this is nothing more than a rip-off.

Therefore, there is no reason to waste money and time on this unreliable dating platform. There are better alternatives on the internet.
