As always, we create a free test account and take a closer look at the site’s members’ area. Then, we carefully study the legal information and search for user experiences and reviews on the internet. Unfortunately, it quickly turns out that TenderMeetups.com is not trustworthy. Actually, it is a rip-off with a fake message scam and a subscription trap.

Fake profiles and chatbots

Within the first few minutes after signing up, users receive numerous enticing chat messages from other members. But to be able to reply, the free membership is not enough, because only paying subscribers can send chat messages to others. Carefully reading the terms of use, we find out that all these promising messages are not sent by actual members, but by an automated message system, so-called “chatbots”. As we see it, their sole purpose is to trick new users into becoming paying subscribers as fast as possible.
