Report for SwipeHookups.com review

SwipeHookups.com pretends to be a casual dating platform where users can easily find someone for an uncomplicated encounter. However, we recognized the landing page immediately. It is practically identical to other fake dating sites created by the Jamaican company known as Enza LTD. They are registered in the capital city of Kingston. The website promises that users will find dates immediately. Speaking from experience, you should run away as fast as you can from any portal making such promises.

Enza LTD controls a network of dating rip-offs that usually demand that users verify their age to give them full access to the premium service. When we were evaluating the site, SwipeHookups.com asked us to do exactly that. Before we were asked to verify our age, we got a sneak peek of the members’ area. This site’s content had a lot of nudity, so this excuse is used to justify asking users to verify their age by asking them to provide credit card information. However, it is obviously a scam that will get users into a lot of trouble.

The verification grants users of the site access to the site’s premium services, but only for a day. After that, the membership automatically turns into a monthly subscription. Unfortunately, the Terms and Conditions are laid out in such a way that they make it impossible to avoid this conversion. If users want to cancel, they’d have to notify the operator several days in advance. Of course, this is impossible if users just started their trial a few hours earlier.

Details on the SwipeHookups.com review

SwipeHookups.com promotes itself as a dating website where casual encounters are easily available. However, it is not that simple. It also gave the impression that the service was free as long as users provided proof that were an adult. However, this is far from the truth. This portal is another invention by Enza LTD, a fishy company from Kingston, Jamaica.

Naked emissaries

For the sake of this review, we created an inconspicuous profile and reviewed the members’ area. When we logged in, we noticed all the profile pictures showed naked women. Their profile pages also contained a large number of explicit sexual photographs, and all the texts let us know how desperate they are to have sex. Unfortunately, these profiles aren’t real. They’re putting everything on a silver plate, so we’ll be more willing to do whatever it takes to interact on the platform.

Initially, we were only able to send a few messages before we were prompted to verify our profile. Then the fun ended abruptly. If we pay attention to the Terms and Conditions, we will see that the operator uses a fake chat service to tempt visitors. It is crowded with virtual profiles called “online emissaries.” It doesn’t look like there are any real women on the website at all. So much for the promises of immediate results and easy hookups.

The following excerpt was taken from the terms and conditions

To cancel your monthly Membership you must notify SwipeHookups.com of your cancellation by e-mail to the billing department at least Five (5) Days before the expiration date of your then current Membership term.

ONLINE EMISSARY program: SwipeHookups.com UTILIZES VIRTUAL PROFILES THAT DO NOT CORRESPOND TO ACTUAL MEMBERS.

Suspicious verification

Enza LTD tends to use a verification method to guarantee that no minors are exposed to nudity. However, this is only an excuse to get users’ credit card information. This method of proof entails a lot of risks for the user. They say it is free of cost, so users can access the platform as a premium member, but this privilege only lasts for a day. After that, memberships get automatically renewed and turn into monthly subscriptions that cost about forty dollars. There is no way to stop this, since any cancellation must be notified four days in advance.

The conclusion from our SwipeHookups.com review

SwipeHookups.com advertises as a casual dating portal, but it is only a scam. As usual, Enza LTD engages users in fake chats that hide a subscription rip-off. It looked like users would have free access to all the premium features if their age were verified with credit card details. However, the fine print reveals that users will get stuck in a cheeky trap. Stay away if you want to avoid a nightmarish experience.
