Report for Squirt.org review

Squirt.org is a casual dating site for gay and bisexual men looking for hookups, cruising, dates, fun, and friendship. It is an international platform that has been active since 1999, and many users have paid for a membership for years. Despite the credibility and trustworthiness that it managed to build up for over two decades, it seems like its services may have reduced its quality. Pink Triangle Press, based in Toronto, Canada, is the company behind this dating platform.

Squirt.org is solely web-based, so there is no app to download. However, users can choose whether they want to browse via desktop or mobile mode. The landing page shows a group of muscular men. It advertises the idea that users can sign up for free and test the website for 10 days. That seems like a sweet deal. Here, users can find the hottest cruising spots; both in the US and abroad.

In order to test the platform, we set up an inconspicuous profile and thoroughly studied the Terms of Use. The user experience wasn’t very good, and we ran into several technical issues. All of that was also brought up by other platform members in their online reviews. In addition, there have been many other complaints from both basic and premium users. It doesn’t seem like Squirt.org was originally intended to be a scam. However, after all these years, it never kept up with the times and the quality of the service became disappointing.

Details on the Squirt.org review

Squirt.org is a casual dating platform for gay and bisexual men with a “think global, act local” flavor. There are regional versions of the website, particularly in English-speaking countries, but also elsewhere. Users can find listings of the best cruising spots, and the operator promises that people are here to get some action; not to waste their time. The platform also features hot videos, photos, and video chats. Pink Triangle Press, the creators of this Toronto-based website, present Squirt.org as a community that cares about safe sex and safe online dating.

Online Dating Veterans

Squirt.org has been up and running since 1999. A scam website wouldn’t have been able to last for nearly 25 years. It is clear that this site used to provide great service to its members in the past before going downhill. In fact, we came across online reviews from former premium members who used the site over a decade ago.

Many old-timers who have currently reused the site seemed upset about the low quality of the service, compared to when the site first started. This is the reason we often update our reviews. A good website can quickly lose its edge, and this seems to be the case here.

Useless Customer Service

Many members complained that it was impossible to contact customer service when needed. Even users who have been paying members for years can’t get in touch with customer support. The reviews mentioned poor user experiences with so many technical issues that the platform had become an annoyance. The operator seems to have lost control of the accounts, and users receive a lot of spam messages and emails.

However, the company refuses to reimburse anything, or they simply don’t reply at all. Therefore, even if Squirt.org wasn’t originally a rip-off, the operators have apparently started behaving like scammers. Keep in mind that the membership entails recurring payments. As a result, if users are unhappy, they will have to take the initiative and cancel subscriptions before they expire.

Technical Issues

We encountered many technical issues on this site, and reports from former users also described the same problems we faced. We had difficulty logging in and often had sudden pop-up requests to change passwords. There were moments when the site would randomly shift between desktop and mobile mode. We also kept getting logged out after just a couple of minutes of inactivity, along with other issues. Browsing this platform was such a disorientating experience, and it certainly made us feel like the site was a rip-off.

The conclusion from our Squirt.org review

Squirt.org is a gay dating platform with a long history. It seems like it may have known better days. Users that have been premium members for years are now leaving the platform. They are upset about all the spam, the technical issues, and the unhelpful customer service. Even if it wasn’t originally designed as a scam, customers are currently unhappy paying for this site. Pink Triangle Press, the operator from Toronto, should get with the times and focus on customer satisfaction if they want their platform to survive for another decade.
