Report on OrchidRomance.com review

The online dating platform OrchidRomance.com has an appealing design. On the landing page, we see the image of a woman. It shows an attractive Asian woman. She represents the type of match you can find here. On this platform, men from the US can find partners from Asia, which includes more than just one Asian country. Initially this makes a good impression for several reasons.

First, the site claims its community consists of charming members. Second, such a site must have a lot of members if women from all Asian countries are available. Third, the portal seems effective and reliable. But there are a few aspects we must criticize. On the landing page, we see two images with very short accompanying descriptions. This is far too little information. This website has poor transparency. Vital details are absent. And the short description mentions an online communication service.

Obviously, chatting with good-looking, charming Asian women sounds interesting. But this is supposed to be a dating site. Actually, it appears to be a matchmaker. So portal users are looking for serious commitments. There’s no reference to real dates on the landing page. This omission makes us feel uncomfortable. The website operator is Interpillar Ltd, which is based in Las Vegas, USA. We know this company already. It is also well-known on the internet but not in a good way. We and other former users had a negative experience.

Is OrchidRomance.com a rip-off?

Yes, the online dating platform OrchidRomance.com is a scam. This website will charge you a lot of money for nothing. You can chat here with lots of good-looking members. Perhaps this sounds enticing. However, the good-looking profiles are all fake. This website uses fake chat. It refers in its legal information to the ‘purpose of entertainment’. We’ll explain more later about the real meaning of this expression. And we’ll explain the cheeky rip-off this site perpetrates too.

It all starts with aggravating and misleading information. On the landing page, we read about free registration. True: registration really is free. But then costs will develop. As no information about any form of costs is given on the landing page, we find this statement misleading. Additionally, the website claims to be a real dating site. We read about falling in love with women from Asia. This site also claims to be a matchmaker. So users are actually looking for true love. However, they will not find it here.

The profiles on the site are all fake. Real dates are not possible. But real dates aren’t actually mentioned in the site’s advertisements. On the landing page we read about what the site offers. And we have to say this website has poor transparency. There’s virtually no information provided at all. The little that does appear is useless. Anyway, on the landing page we read about the site’s services. This website allows users to conduct online conversations. Ultimately, the operator does not mention anything about meeting real people. But the site does give this impression.

In the terms and conditions we read more information about the site’s services. We found an admission here that referred to ‘the purpose of entertainment’. The goal of moderation is supposed to be entertaining users. But this isn’t really true at all. First, users do not want to be entertained. Users of this website want to find matches they fall in love with. Second, the user does not receive any information about any such goal. Last but not least, the actual goal is not entertaining users but generating a higher income for the operator.

Costs will develop for credits needed to send messages. It is quite obvious that purchasing credits is a waste of money. There is no chance of meeting anyone real here. But users are tricked into spending money. Fake chat operators encourage them to chat. They will instigate initial contact. But they won’t identify themselves as fake chat operators or fictitious people. The relevant profiles are not marked as fictitious content either. Well, the profiles are obviously fake.

In the members´ pool, we only found profiles of good-looking people. This site does not have a single female member who looks like an average woman. Naturally this makes a good impression. But in reality, it’s a hint that fake profiles are used. Anyway, the user is told nothing about moderation. So the fake chat operators provoke extensive conversations which are a waste of time and money.

There might also be a risk of falling into some kind of subscription rip-off. As mentioned above, costs will develop for buying credits. These credits are offered in different packages. Usually, we would assume credits just involve a one-time payment. But the credits on this website will automatically be repurchased. The top-up system used is in effect a kind of subscription. As neither site nor operator is reliable, we find the automatic credit top-up system suspicious. And we saw reviews on the internet alleging a subscription trap.

In general, this website has a poor reputation. And we found numerous reviews about the site operator. These reviews by former users allege the use of fake chat and zero chances of physically meeting a match. Several also allege a rip-off with a subscription trap too.

Registration on OrchidRomance.com

Registration is free and completed quickly. This platform does not require a lot of information. This makes registration smooth and easy. But there’s a catch we’d like to explain first. This site claims to be a matchmaker. But to find accurate matches, a lot of personal information is needed. As we see it, this statement of fact is reasonably self-evident. However, this website only asks for a little information. And even the sparse details provided can’t facilitate matchmaking. What’s more, most steps in the registration process can be skipped.

At the first stage we enter a valid e-mail address, password, our name, date of birth and gender. To continue with registration, we have to agree to the terms & conditions and privacy policy. Then a questionnaire appears that includes three further stages. The first asks us questions about ourselves. We can describe our appearance, interests, hobbies and so on. In the second part, we can give more information about our expectations of a perfect match. This part is very short and only contains a few questions.

In the third part, we can upload a profile picture. Now this platform does makes it possible for a user to create an interesting profile. But a new member can complete registration in less than one minute. We skipped each question. So we created an empty profile. This is not a good thing. Nor do we have to verify our account. This is bad for users’ safety. It means personal data protection can’t be guaranteed on this website.

Members’ area on OrchidRomance.com

After registering, we entered the platform. This worked without verification. So it’s easy to create fake profiles. Your personal information isn’t safe here. It’s just so easy to create a profile just to access the personal data of every user. This amounts to bad personal data protection. But even this isn’t the worst aspect of the site. However, before we go into detail about the site’s negative aspects, we’d like to outline our experiences with it.

The website’s design is modern and appealing. This comment applies to its landing page, registration process and user interface. We have a good overview of the site. Navigation is exceptionally smooth and easy. After a few minutes, we know all the various areas of the website. Plus, we were able to use a few features free of charge. All its functions are simple to use and self-explanatory. In general, it only takes a few minutes to get to know this website.

At the top we see the various sections: our inbox, notifications, profile settings and a newsfeed area. In the newsfeed, we can see every member’s activities. This is similar to the newsfeed of other well-known social media websites. Above the members´ area, we see the search functions, which are ready for use. We can choose a few criteria to filter the members´ pool. On the right side, we see a screen with statistics. We see vital numbers there all at once.

The screen shows us the number of messages we’ve received and sent. We see our likes and so on. It transpires that our profile is quite popular. We receive a lot of attention – a bit too much in fact. Other users want to meet us. We also receive notifications about likes and chat invitations. Other members want us to contact them. Last but not least, we receive messages from other members.

This high level of attention is excessive. This website clearly uses fake chat. A brief look at the site’s terms and conditions reveals we’re justified in suspecting this. The purpose of this site is ‘the entertainment of users’. But users of a dating site are not looking for entertainment. Nor are they informed about any such purpose.  On the internet, we found a lot of reviews alleging a fake chat scam. Former users were not just dissatisfied or disappointed. This site only wants your money.

The actual goal of moderation is not entertainment. Fake chat operators control these fake profiles to increase the operator’s income. Costs will ensue from using this website. To achieve their goal, fake chat practitioners will encourage new members to join conversations. While chatting, they will not admit anything about moderation or entertainment. Plus, the fake profiles are not specially marked as fake.

By the way, the profiles are obviously fake. In the members´ area, we only found good-looking members. There are of course a lot of lovely women all over Asia. But it is simply not plausible that a dating site would only register good-looking users who look like models.

Costs on OrchidRomance.com

This website offers free registration. The information on which the offer is based is true, but only in part. After registration, high costs will develop for the use of the site. As costs are not set out on the landing page, the reference to free registration is very misleading. However, the user does not have to pay right away. Costs will develop for credits needed to send messages. Our research shows using this site is very expensive.

Two credits are needed to send a message, but only with the first message. While a conversation is being conducted, two credits are charged every 60 seconds. It does not matter whether you or your match is typing a message; you will be charged anyway. The charges only stop if there is no activity within the chat function. In the end, you will spend a lot of credits while chatting and awaiting a reply.

This website claims to be a matchmaker. But the portal doesn’t have a matchmaking system. You have to find your own potential match, which is quite difficult. On the one hand, all profiles look more than appealing since they are fake. On the other hand, fake chat operators contact you first. So you end up spending a lot of money on messages needed to find a potential partner. And then many further credits are needed to get to know your match.

It is also possible to send a sticker for five credits. To send a picture, 10 credits are needed. While sending a sticker or an image, two credits are charged for keeping the conversation going. This website is a cheeky rip-off with fake chat. The high costs make it even more cheeky. And there appears to be a risk of a subscription trap too. Credits are automatically topped up at the beginning of a month. Payments can only be made with a credit card.

You can of course make interim purchases of additional credits. It’s guaranteed that your balance will be full of new credits next month. We feel this sounds like a cheeky trap. On the internet, we found reviews complaining about such a scam.

One detail that makes this website even more suspicious is that we couldn’t visit the payment section. To see all the credit offers, we would have had to enter our credit card details. In general, never do this. Never provide your credit card details before seeing what’s actual on offer. It might end in a trap. All we found was a special offer for 20 credits. 20 credits cost 2.99 USD. Obviously, this doesn’t sound a lot. But bear in mind the high rates for sending a message and for using the chat tool.

Conclusion from our OrchidRomance.com experience

The online dating portal OrchidRomance.com is a rip-off with fake chat. And there is a very high risk of falling into a subscription trap. The profiles on the platform are all fake. This website is for entertainment only. Entertainment usually means moderation. Fake chat operators are employed to entertain users. But users do not want to be entertained. And they don’t even know about the entertainment service they’re receiving.

A fake chat operator takes the first step. They actively encourage new members to join chats without identifying themselves as fictitious people. Fake profiles are not specially labeled as fake either. The goal of moderation is not entertainment but generating a higher level of activity. Users have to pay to use the site. The rates for using the chat tool are very high. Additionally, credits will automatically be topped up. This sounds like a cheeky trap to us.

The portal operator is Interpillar Ltd, which is based in Las Vegas, USA. This company has a terrible reputation on the internet. We found many negative reviews. Former users were not satisfied at all. They had a bad experience, just as we did numerous times. We know this operator very well.

    Don’t trust these sites

Well, I found this site of review a little too late but AsianMelodies has another site identical called OrchidRomance.com and it is all the same. I was communicating with one nice woman, 40 years old and a doctor…very convincing for sure. I spend the required 3000 credits, and alot more over the past few months – got validated and her personal email address and now her account is deleted.

She said earlier that she lost her ID and as a validated profile she had to keep providing proof with an ID and photo showing it was really her but that makes no sense to me. So she said since her ID was lost her account was going to be deleted soon since it takes time to get another ID. Not sure how true that is or not.

Im am just skeptical about all this, and then before her account got deleted she sent me a link to another site called chn-dating.com (cloudchat) so we could continue communicating here. You still have to buy credits (maybe a bit cheaper) but no free chat which makes me even more skeptical that all this is a SCAM for sure.

Just be warned that all this most likely is BS and be safe of how you spend your money on all this.
