At first sight, MatchFlings.com looks like a great platform to find local singles, who are looking for exciting dating experiences and erotic encounters. The dating portal advertises with a big and constantly growing members’ area. They offer free registration, an easy-to-use interface, and many interesting tools and features. But we have a closer look at the fine print information in the footer of the landing page. We understand that MatchFlings.com is a rip-off with a fake chat.
Expensive and pointless
The website is not free at all, only the registration is. To get access to the chat feature and send messages to other members, users must buy so-called “credits”. These “credits” can then be exchanged for sending messages or virtual gifts in the chat. Depending on which “credit” bundle a user chooses to purchase, each sent chat message will cost between $1.19 and $1.49. This is not only expensive but also entirely pointless. The members’ area is full of fictional profiles, run and managed by fake chat operators. Thus, a chat conversation can never result in a real-life date.
The following excerpt is from the terms and conditions
You also understand that this is a fantasy entertainment Service and that (i) the profiles are fictional and your interactions will be with operators.
Unfortunately, users are not sufficiently informed about the fake profiles and are therefore tricked into spending a lot of money on entirely pointless chat conversations. In our experience, the fake chat operators are trained to get as many messages as possible out of each user.
Negative reviews and bad reputation
The operator of MatchFlings.com is Meteor Interactive BV, from Utrecht, in the Netherlands. This company has got an extremely poor reputation on the internet, where it is well-known for numerous scam dating portals. During our research, we find many negative reviews by former customers. They felt tricked and ripped-off. We absolutely understand their frustration and strongly advise everyone to refrain from signing up on MatchFlings.com. The chances of finding a date via this platform seem to be zero.
