MatchFlings.com advertises with a big members’ pool and free registration. At first sight, it looks like a great place to find local singles, who are looking for new dating experiences. However, we realized that the chances of finding a date here are extremely low. The site turns out to be an expensive rip-off with a fake chat.

Users are charged for every single chat message they send. But the member's area consists of fake profiles, managed by employed fake chat operators. As these profiles are fictional, it is impossible to meet them in real life. Unfortunately, users are not sufficiently informed about the fake chat and are therefore tricked into costly and pointless chat conversations. The operator of the site, Meteor Interactive BV, is already well-known for its fake chat scam websites. This company, which is based in Utrecht, in the Netherlands, has received many negative user reviews online.

At first sight, MatchFlings.com looks like a great platform to find local singles, who are looking for exciting dating experiences and erotic encounters. The dating portal advertises with a big and constantly growing members’ area. They offer free registration, an easy-to-use interface, and many interesting tools and features. But we have a closer look at the fine print information in the footer of the landing page. We understand that MatchFlings.com is a rip-off with a fake chat.

Expensive and pointless

The website is not free at all, only the registration is. To get access to the chat feature and send messages to other members, users must buy so-called “credits”. These “credits” can then be exchanged for sending messages or virtual gifts in the chat. Depending on which “credit” bundle a user chooses to purchase, each sent chat message will cost between $1.19 and $1.49. This is not only expensive but also entirely pointless. The members’ area is full of fictional profiles, run and managed by fake chat operators. Thus, a chat conversation can never result in a real-life date.
