Report for JustSingles.com review

JustSingles.com is an online dating platform for single people, who are looking for a partner, or a more serious relationship. The landing page shows a happy couple, next to the registration form. They advertise that registration is free, and that overall, the platform is also free to use. However, we discovered later, that the features are extremely limited, unless you pay for a VIP subscription. This website is managed by Venntro Media Group Ltd, who are based in Slough, in the United Kingdom.

We have written numerous reviews about this company in the past. So, we know that they control a network of online dating rip-offs. Unfortunately, this is no exception. On the landing page, you can see a couple of labels. These supposedly ensure data protection. They also seem to guarantee that the website is part of some anti scam network. Sadly, these are all empty promises.

For our review, we created an account. We avoided uploading a profile photo, even though we were prompted to do so, several times. Our goal was to make ourselves as uninteresting as possible, to uncover any possible fake profiles. As we suspected, we started receiving messages on our completely empty profile. The platform turned out to be a scam. They tried to entice us to sign up for a dangerous subscription.

Details on the JustSingles.com review

JustSingles.com turned out to be a total fraud. We have a lot of experience in writing reviews about Venntro Media Group Ltd, who are based in Slough, in the UK. We know they repeatedly use these fake chats as bait for a subscription rip-off. Furthermore, we quickly discovered that the chat was full of fictitious profiles. These send messages to new members in the hope of getting them to sign up for a paid subscription. We do not recommend this at all.

User complaints

JustSingles.com works on a subscription business model. The membership has a recurring cost, so the user is charged for it until cancellation is effective. Since most of the profiles seem to be fake and the user isn’t made properly aware of it, it is an obvious scam. Further, the website offers a trial period at a reduced price that serves as an introduction to the service. It automatically turns into a monthly subscription, though.

Former members of this platform consistently write that the operator charged them outrageous sums, without their consent. Moreover, cancelling their membership became a nightmare. It was impossible to reach the company. So, the recurring payments kept occurring, in spite of the users’ efforts. This situation leads to a lot of regret and embarrassment. Scam victims often have a hard time reaching out for help, due to the shame and guilt they feel. Especially when it comes to dating sites. These fishy companies know this, and exploit these feelings as much as they can.

Fake members

The member’s area supposedly hosts over 200,000 users, though we suspect that most of those are fake profiles. All these look mainly like the «girl next door» type, so they are rather believable for users who have less experience in uncovering rip-offs. We are warned that our profile will remain invisible to other users, if we do not upload a profile picture. However, we still received attention from others. This proves what the Terms of Use explicitly confirm. Beware of fictitious profiles. The operator does not admit to creating these profiles themselves.

The following excerpt is taken from the Terms and Conditions

By using this Service you accept that any member profiles, messages and communication may not be genuine and you agree to take reasonable precautions in all interactions with other members or users of the Site or Service, particularly if you decide to meet offline or in person.

The conclusion from our JustSingles.com review

JustSingles.com is yet another subscription rip-off designed by infamous operator, Venntro Media Group Ltd. They are based in Slough, in the United Kingdom. It comes across as a legit online dating website. However, the Terms of Use warn about the existence of a fake chat. Furthermore, many users, who had paid for a trial membership, were extremely disappointed with the operator’s lack of transparency. They complain that the trial period turned into a much more expensive recurring membership, without their consent.

I just signed on for a three month subscription and I’m truly disappointed because the majority of men display pictures where they look disheveled, and like hardened criminals with names such as “Goat. ” On the other hand, eHarmony is too expensive. Nonetheless, I will have to go there and hopefully be matched to date professions like myself.
