We are sure we have seen the same smiling faces on a different dating scam. We are told that it is free to sign up, and apparently the portal has a dedicated customer support service, which is available 24/7. All profiles are supposedly verified, but we wonder what that really means.

The website is managed by Venntro Media Group LTD, which is an operator from the town of Slough, in the United Kingdom. We found out later that the features are very limited, unless you sign up for a VIP-membership. This is hardly surprising, since we have written numerous reviews about the same company in the past. We are aware that they manage a network of online dating rip-offs. With that experience, we were not expecting much from JustChristianDating.com.

For our review, we created a bland profile, where we gave as few details as possible about ourselves. We were asked many questions about our churchgoing habits, which we declined to answer. We also avoided adding a profile picture. Our main objective was making ourselves as uninteresting as possible, to trigger potential fictitious profiles. Just as we thought, we soon started receiving chat messages from characters who mentioned they were looking for love. But we could only read the first few words with our free account.

They try to trick you into buying a premium subscription. The members’ area turned out to be crowded with fictitious profiles. They text new members systematically, to deceive and seduce them.

Given that the profiles are not authentic, and users are not properly informed about that, we consider this membership to be a rip-off. The VIP membership entails automatic renewals. Therefore, the user will continue to be charged if they do not effectively cancel the subscription.
