Report for Hibbly.com review

Hibbly.com is a dating portal where users can supposedly cultivate long-term connections with like-minded individuals. It initially seems to target people who are looking for a serious relationship. The landing site has an image of a happy, playful couple, but there is really little to no information about the service itself. The platform is multilingual and allegedly hosts a community of 100 million users. Of course, this is an utterly ridiculous claim and a major red flag. Only the biggest players in the industry manage to reach such numbers, and this platform is completely unknown.

In fact, we couldn’t find out who the company behind this portal was. That was another very important warning sign because it offered zero guarantees if we encountered any problem with payments, memberships, etc. So far, this should be enough to label this website as an obvious scam, but there’s even more. The Terms and Conditions are scattered in several different texts, and it is all rather unclear. It looked incomplete. Furthermore, the only way to communicate with the creators of this rip-off is through their customer support page. This can easily be ignored by any questionable operator.

Moreover, we evaluated the site with a temporary profile. This was enough to confirm that the members’ area was filled with fake accounts. We made zero effort and still attracted plenty of attention. This is a clear sign that there are no real women here, only digital temptresses trying to lure us into signing up for a paid subscription. All memberships were automatically renewed, and considering their deficient customer support, we suspect that canceling the service may become an ordeal.

Details on the Hibbly.com review

Hibbly.com is a suspicious dating portal managed by an unknown operator. The platform can be used in many different languages, and it boasts about having millions of users. Given our experience in the industry, we found it hard to believe that it would have that many members. While writing this review, the red flags became more and more apparent. The website contains a fake chat service that functions as bait, in order to trick users into purchasing a risky subscription.

Fake accounts

When entering the member’s area, the interface is a little similar to Tinder but even more minimalistic. We believe that there are no real people on this rip-off at all. Our inconspicuous profile was immediately contacted by plenty of women, who couldn’t wait to have a conversation with us.

However, we couldn’t communicate with them through our free account. Unless we sign up for a paid membership, the platform is pointless. In fact, we couldn’t even see any details about the profiles. It is very hard to assess whether the portal is worth our time and money at all. Usually, trustworthy operators give users a little taste of what they can expect. This way, the visitor to the site knows what they could benefit from if they choose to purchase a membership.

Copycats

Should you decide to create an account here, keep in mind that the operator will use your image for their own commercial purposes. We have written countless reviews about similar websites, so we know your profile will be used on other fake chats associated with this one. If you don’t want your face to become one of the fictional characters employed to trick other people, avoid uploading a picture or any personal information.

The following was excerpted from the terms and conditions

The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period (each week, month, 6 months, year, or otherwise, depending on the option selected by you at the time of purchase) until you cancel. When you purchase a 3-days subscription, it will be automatically renewed as a monthly subscription, and a monthly subscription fee will be charged each month until you cancel.

You hereby expressly consent to our use of your profile on the Program to populate registration and profile information on the other Programs owned by the Licensor or its affiliates (“Affiliate Websites”).

Recurrent payments

The website offers several memberships of various durations. All of them are automatically renewed. In order to avoid the renewal, users must cancel the agreement at least 24 hours before it expires. There is a three-day membership that may sound pretty tempting, but it will into a monthly subscription at the end of the trial period. Knowing so little about the operator is a major problem. We may go through a lot of trouble to effectively cancel the contract, so we could end up paying for much longer than we had planned.

The conclusion from our Hibbly.com review

Hibbly.com is a suspicious dating website that claims to have 100 million users. This sounds a little unbelievable, for I have never had the experience of seeing so many members on such an unknown website. The fact that the operator is anonymous is a major red flag pointing to an obvious scam. We have no way of contacting the company if something goes wrong. Furthermore, the platform contains a fake chat populated by fictitious profiles. Here you won’t find the long-term relationship that you were hoping for.
