Report for FlirtingCity.com review

FlirtingCity.com is part of a huge network of dating websites run by Meteor Interactive BV. This company, who are based in Utrecht, in The Netherlands, is infamous for using fake profiles on each one of their platforms. We have already written several reviews in the past, which uncover their multiple scams. All our previous experiences with them have been disappointing.

Moreover, the internet is full of negative reports from former users who complain about a fake chat. It is highly unlikely that you will ever meet somebody in person by using the services provided by this operator. FlirtingCity.com is just another rip-off designed by this untrustworthy company. They claim to have thousands of active users available for flirty chats and hot dates. In fact, most of these profiles are fake.

FlirtingCity.com defines itself as the best flirting site ever. The landing page invites the readers to make themselves at home, and to start chatting with thousands of active users. According to what we can read in the footnotes, this is a social platform for men and women who are looking for fun experiences. Based on their profile settings, subscribers will receive daily suggestions for potential matches. At first sight, this appears to be a good choice for meeting new and interesting people living nearby.

Details on the FlirtingCity.com review

The landing page of FlirtingCity.com does not show any erotic content. The page is very simple and looks quite outdated. However, it is still pleasant to view. In fact, it might be quite appealing to those shy users who would otherwise feel overwhelmed, on one of those dating websites which displays a lot of explicit pictures. There is not much information about what to expect after signing up. In our experience, this is often a bad sign. People are expected to register without knowing exactly what kind of service they are joining.

Also, it is not clear whether FlirtingCity.com is free or not. On the subscription form, registration is advertised as free. But at the bottom of the page, there is a link to the pricing section. This ambiguity is highly suspicious.

How does it work?

The registration is quick and easy. A confirmation link will be sent to your email address to activate your account. Even if there is no need to upload a picture, FlirtingCity.com recommends doing so, to increase your chances of quickly finding a potential partner. The free basic version of the website allows you just to create an account and visit other profiles. But if you want to get in touch with other members, you must purchase credits.

Credits are virtual coins that can be used to send messages. One message requires one credit. The cost of each credit varies depending on the size of the desired bundle. A 25 credits package costs $50.00. At least this is not a subscription rip-off, because there is no automatic renewal. However, it is a huge waste of money.

The following is stated in the Terms and Conditions

You also understand that this is a fantasy entertainment Service and that (i) the profiles are fictional and your interactions will be with operators.

Old habits never change

As usual for Meteor Interactive BV, the company from Utrecht, in the Netherlands, who run FlirtingCity.com, the profiles in the members’ area are fictitious. They are controlled by fake chat operators whose job is to promote the purchase of credits. This is a scam, because users are tricked into thinking that they are talking to real people who are available for an actual date.

The conclusion from our FlirtingCity.com review

Our review has proven that FlirtingCity.com is just a scam with a fake chat. Right after registration, new users start to receive promising messages from interesting profiles. But these communications come from professional animators, who do not correspond to the person that they are pretending to be. Their purpose is to keep the conversation going as much as possible. By doing so, people will end up spending a lot of money for nothing, because real-life dates are impossible.
