Report for DatingTuga.com review

DatingTuga.com is a dating website with many features and functions. The landing page is well organized, with a minimalist design. This was a pleasant initial experience. The home page presents information about the sites’ functions and features, topped with the registration form. Despite a delay in receiving the confirmation email, we soon accessed the website, and had a look at the many pages and functions.

However, we discovered that DatingTuga.com uses “system profiles”, which are controlled by operators, who do not represent real people. This is confirmed by the Terms and Conditions. This constitutes a fake chat scam. Interacting with other users requires “credits.” These can be earned by completing tasks, like enabling notifications, adding a profile photo, or confirming your email address. This gamified approach adds a sense of engagement to the platform, but the pricing system is very expensive. Even the most affordable package will cost you about $1.50 per message.

DatingTuga.com is owned by Meet Us Media LTD, from Nicosia, in Cyprus. Reviews of other platforms associated with this company reveal a consistent pattern of fake chat rip-offs, and inflated pricing plans. With such high prices and the presence of fake profiles, we advise caution before making purchases.

Details on the DatingTuga.com review

The landing page of DatingTuga.com is well organized with a minimalistic appeal. We find some information about the website’s functions and features, topped by the registration form. We proceeded to sign up, but to our surprise, the confirmation mail did not arrive in the first 30 minutes. Nevertheless, we could still access the website. The first page that showed up, after the registration process, was the dashboard, which included many users of the website.

Too good to be true

To engage in a conversation with other members, or just to send a like, you need credits. You can gain some by completing small tasks, such as enabling notifications, adding a profile photo, or opening the link in your confirmation mail. The review started well. We explored some of the website functions. We found that the website is very well organized, and the user interface is very smooth and intuitive.

Although all seemed to go well, we had a strong suspicion about the users of the platform. Their personal information seemed a little bit too unnatural. So, we decided to search the website’s pages, for any proof of the use of fake profiles, and we found what we needed. We can now say that DatingTuga.com, although well-designed, is a fake chat rip-off.

Here is the excerpt from the Terms and Conditions

The Company operates system profiles (i.e. profiles connected to Accounts which have been created by the Company and which are either operated by contractors of the Company who impersonate the persons portrayed in such profiles or by a system designed to interact with users) and expressly reserves the right to chat with users through such system profiles in order to enhance the users’ entertainment experience.

Buying credits

After exhausting our initial credits, the website immediately directed us to the payment page, where you can buy credits to keep your experience running. Packages are divided into six classes, with different amounts of credits. We did some calculations and found out that even with the most convenient and expensive package, which costs $229.00, you are going to pay around $1.50, for a single message. That is crazy.

About the company

The website is owned by Meet Us Media LTD, from Nicosia, in Cyprus. We have already encountered this company in other reviews, and they all presented the same pattern. Fake chat rip-off with very expensive pricing plans. We advise caution, and common sense, before engaging in this, and other websites, with these same characteristics.

The conclusion from our DatingTuga.com review

In conclusion, while DatingTuga.com may initially appear well-organized and appealing, our experience with the website revealed the presence of a fake chat scam. We need to add to this the exorbitant pricing for “credits.” This does not put this platform in the list of subscription scams but raises several concerns. DatingTuga.com, owned by Meet Us Media LTD, is another scam from the same company. We strongly recommend caution and common sense before engaging in such platforms.
