ChatByNight.com advertises itself as an online dating service where you can find local dates. The homepage of this site is simply designed and contains a suggestive background image of an attractive woman. The website offers free registration and claims to have thousands of active members. With hundreds of new users supposedly signing up every day, this seems like a great place to meet and chat with beautiful people in your area. The operator is Meteor Interactive BV, which is a company based in Groot-Ammers, The Netherlands.

Though there are dozens of pictures of beautiful women displayed on the homepage, and in the members’ area of ChatByNight.com, our review found that these are probably all fake. We conducted a thorough review of this site’s Terms and Conditions. We also created an account to test out its features. Sadly, in our experience, we discovered that this site is a fake chat scam. It uses fictitious profiles, which are controlled by employees, or computerized chatbots, to rip-off users.

The operator of this website has a terrible reputation. We have given them many negative reviews in the past for this exact same scam. We had hoped that ChatByNight.com would be different from the other websites we have reviewed from them, but unfortunately this was not the case. This site is nothing but a fake chat scam. It requires users to purchase expensive bundles of virtual currency, which is used to send messages. The profiles here cannot be met in real life, so there is no chance of finding a date here.

At first glance, most visitors to ChatByNight.com would assume that it is a dating website. It seems to be a place where you can meet attractive singles in your area. Though that is what it leads people to believe, this is far from the truth. We read through the Terms and Conditions. We found that ChatByNight.com is a fantasy service. Apparently, the purpose of this site is “entertainment”, not real dating. We did some more investigating and discovered a fake chat scam.

In our experience on the site, we noticed that many of the profiles appeared too good to be true, and we were sent many suspicious messages. The terms of service confirmed that the website uses fake chat operators to impersonate real members. This means that the site is full of fictitious accounts. Also, it is very expensive to chat with them. Users are required to buy virtual currency, which they can then use to pay for messages. Overall, meeting someone real here is not at all likely, so we consider this site a rip-off.

Fantasy entertainment profiles

The operator admits to using fake chat operators in the Terms and Conditions of the site. This operator is Meteor Interactive BV from Groot-Ammers, The Netherlands. We have given them many poor reviews in the past. The terms state that the profiles on this site are all fictional and cannot be met in real life.

According to the operator, all fictitious profiles are marked with a special heart icon. Though we did notice this heart icon on the profiles that interacted with us, most users would have a hard time finding this. If users do not read through the entire terms of service, it would be almost impossible to know which profiles are fake.

You also understand that this is a fantasy entertainment Service and that (i) the profiles are fictional and your interactions will be with operators; (ii) we do not conduct background or criminal record checks on users, or verify their identity, and you accept all risk of interacting with people via the Service…Profiles marked with a heart icon […] are fictional entertainers’ profiles rather than members profiles, physical contact with these profiles is not possible.

Pay per message

Another issue is the pricing. ChatByNight.com requires users to buy expensive bundles of its virtual currency, called ‘credits,’ if they want to use the chatting feature. Each message must be paid for, which means users could end up spending a huge amount of money, in just one conversation.

In our experience reviewing ChatByNight.com, run by Meteor Interactive BV, from the Netherlands, we found that it is another fake chat scam. The operator employs fake chat operators and chatting bots, to interact with users. Users are not made clearly made aware that this is a fantasy service, and not a dating site. Also, it will cost you a lot of money to chat. Each message you send must be paid for. Overall, this site is a rip-off, and it is probably impossible to find dates here.
