Report for CasualPickUp.com review

CasualPickUp.com is a casual dating portal with many members. The platform also offers various features for meeting new people. It is available all over the US and appears to be popular in larger cities. Based on the information provided by the landing page, the target consumers of this site are young single individuals. This site claims to make actual dates possible for its users. However, a passage from the Terms & Conditions can be seen on the landing page. In the passage, it’s written that the site uses computer-generated virtual profiles to communicate with real users.

CasualPickUp.com claims to be a legit online dating service, but that is not true. The website is a scam that uses chatbots to engage users in fake chats. Chatbots act like real people to lure new members into a subscription rip-off. On the landing page, the use of so-called computer-generated virtual profiles is openly admitted. These virtual profiles are fake and show fictitious content.

There are no “fake chat” operators here. Only chatbots are used to carry out fake conversations. They stimulate new members to chat. While chatting, chatbots will not inform users of this deception, making this website a rip-off. The chatbot’s objective is to increase the income of the operator that owns the site. The site operator is Theme Bow Ltd, which is based in East Sussex, UK. We found online reviews about the operator and had a bad experience with this company.

Details on the CasualPickUp.com review

CasualPickUp.com may seem like a solid casual dating site with an offer that sounds good. There are even some profile pictures being displayed on the landing page. It also appeared to have many members who are open-minded. In addition, the site claimed that users could register for free. However, all the information mentioned above that came from the landing page is misleading and wrong. This site is a scam. The portal uses a fake chat service and all the profiles on the landing page are fake. We assume that there are no real members on this site.

The use of fake profiles was mentioned on the landing page through the phraseology, “computer-generated virtual profiles.” A computer-generated virtual profile is a fake profile. These computer-generated virtual profiles have no indicator for users to identify them. Additionally, chatbots control these fake profiles. Instead of “fake chat” operators, chatbots are used in their place. A chatbot will make the first step in engaging users without notifying users that the conversation will not lead to a real date.

The following is stated in the terms and conditions

From time to time, while You use Our Services, You may interact with automated online accounts and/or false profiles, which all its content has been generated by either: a) real persons that have been only contracted or employed by Us for the purposes set-forth below; or/and b) by automated programs or scripts, which dialogues none really exist and have been generated exclusively by programming (hereinafter referred to as “Automated Profiles”).

This site is an entertainment service

In the Terms & Conditions, the site operator explained that the purpose of entertaining users with computer-generated virtual profiles is so that users could feel more engaged in the site. Of course, none of that is true. It is all an excuse for justifying the use of chatbots. According to online reviews, former users didn’t know they were chatting with bots because it wasn’t stated clearly enough. In any case, a premium membership is needed for users to reply to these chatbots. The whole scam is that the subscription renews automatically if the user does not terminate it in time.

The site operator is Theme Bow Ltd, which is based in East Sussex, UK. This company makes the process of termination complicated. The company makes sure that users will miss the deadline for termination. By the way, we have had experience with other websites that this company operates.

The conclusion from our CasualPickUp.com review

The online dating platform CasualPickUp.com is a rip-off with a subscription trap. Fake chat services are used to lure new members into a trap. The site uses so-called computer-generated virtual profiles. These are fake profiles that show fictitious content. Chatbots control these profiles and stimulate new members to chat. New users who join the site are not aware of these chatbots until it is too late. They will be encouraged to purchase a premium membership. The subscription renews automatically and is very difficult to cancel.

Thank you very much for your advise . I was about to join but I’m glad your web site exists so we don’t get taken by these bots.
I actually called the contact number they provided and I was told if I but credits they will run out in 24 hours if I don’t use them . I was also told they do not renew your subscription Im sure that’s fake as well.
I live in a small town and they say I have over 100 contacts waiting for me to contact lol I know that’s not true at all.
Anyways thanks for the advise it saved me a lot of money only to speak to a bot lol.
I’m having a hard time trying to determine weather a site is real or not any advise would help a lot .
    Thanks again
