This dating service is operated by Devurum Ltd. This company, based in Nicosia, in Cyprus, is known to us. Our previous experience with the company has not been all that good. After doing some research, we detect a rip-off here as well.

The site is very easy to understand and use. You can search for a video chat partner. You can also skip chat partners who are not of any interest to you. We tried this feature, and we were mostly talking to amateur cam models. After a few seconds, you must pay to continue the conversation. The trial membership is part of a cheeky subscription rip-off.

CallMeChat.com is all about video chat calls. You can start a video chat with other members on this site. If you do not enjoy the conversation, you can just click next, and talk to another person. Before every new call, you are always shown the photo of the upcoming member. If you do not like what you see, you can just skip this member and find a new person to talk to. If you do not feel like doing a video chat anymore, you can also start a regular chat and exchange text messages.

CallMeChat.com offers us free video chats on our computer, as well as on our phone. At least, that is what is written on the landing page. The operator also tells us that the video chat feature is far superior to the regular chat functions found on most dating sites. For this review, we sign up and activate our camera, for our first video chat session. You can talk to real people here. However, the operator wants you to purchase a trial membership to continue chatting. This trial membership silently turns into a monthly subscription.

How does the video chat system work?

The main page of CallMeChat.com does not offer you many options. You can either view video stories of other users, or directly start the video chat. The latter one connects you with seemingly random users, who are also looking for a video chat. For some reason, we are mainly connected with seductive women. Suddenly, a pop-up window appears. Apparently, we need to pay 60 coins per minute from now on.

The free video chat feature isn’t free after all

A quick way to receive coins is to purchase the platinum membership. The operator has a special offer for us and wants us to buy a cheap trial membership. For only 0.99 USD we can become a platinum member for a day and receive 1000 coins for free. This offer is very tempting, but you should not take it. This trial membership transforms into a monthly subscription after the day has ended. You can easily forget to deactivate the automatic renewal function and end up in a subscription trap.

CallMeChat.com is run by Devurum Ltd, a company located in Nicosia in Cyprus. In a previous review, we already shared our experience with AmourLee.com. Both are scam dating sites operated by the same company. The Mediterranean Island is a hotspot for untrustworthy companies like this one. The reason for that are the low taxes, and low costs for starting a company.

CallMeChat.com has a different approach to most other dating sites. After signing up, you can start a video chat right away and connect with other members. However, this option is not free of charge. After a while, you are charged a certain number of coins per minute. You can get new coins by purchasing the platinum membership. The cheap day trial appears to be a great alternative.
