The result of our Bride.ru review: Our test on Bride.ru turned out to be an insufficient dating website.

Bride.ru claims to be a great place to find beautiful Russian women seeking serious relationships and marriage. Registered users can browse the members’ area and contact the ladies via email. Some women can be contacted by any free user. Others can only be contacted by paying for silver or gold members. As the paid memberships are non-recurring, no subscription rip-offs are to be feared.

Unfortunately, Bride.ru does not offer many features and the interface is extremely outdated. In terms of usability, the site is certainly not the greatest. Moreover, it has received a poor online reputation. During our research, we found several negative reviews from former users, who claim that the member base is filled with fake profiles and romance scammers.

Altogether, Bride.ru can be considered a legitimate website. Nonetheless, it leaves a lot to be desired and there are much better alternatives.

To find out whether or not the portal can be recommended, we created a free member account and took a closer look at the offered features, as well as the ladies galleries. We then carefully read the terms and conditions, and searched the internet for user experiences and reviews. Even though Bride.ru is not a rip-off, we do not think it is a great choice.

First impressions

The site’s interface is extremely outdated and not very user-friendly. The picture gallery on the landing page is very cluttered and the overall design is rather unappealing. In terms of functionality, however, everything seems to work smoothly.

How to find a bride

Users can choose between three different lady galleries to search for a matching woman. In the free area, any lady can be contacted via e-mail for free. In the silver and gold areas can only be accessed by purchasing either the silver or gold membership.

Fortunately, the paid memberships are non-recurring. Therefore, they expire automatically and no subscription rip-offs are to be feared.

Fake profiles and romance scams

According to several user online reviews, Bride.ru is full of fake profiles and romance scammers. Consequently, we strongly advise you to be extremely cautious and to never send any money to one of the ladies, no matter how nice she may appear.
