    Report for BelgischeFlirt.com review

At first glance, BelgischeFlirt.com appears to be trustworthy and legit. But after some research, the dating platform turns out to be a rip-off.

Signing up is free, quick, and simple. With the free membership, however, users are only granted minimal access to the site’s features and tools. To send chat messages to others, a paid membership subscription is needed. Unfortunately, these subscriptions extend automatically and can quickly lead to a subscription trap. The inexpensive trial-memberships are particularly dangerous, because they automatically convert to one of the costly long-term subscriptions.

To trick new users into quickly purchasing a subscription, the site uses fake profiles and chatbots. The actual chances of finding a real person for a date here are extremely low.

The operator of the site is UK-based Porticato Media Ltd. The company runs numerous other scam websites and regularly receives negative reviews and customer complaints online.

    Details on the BelgischeFlirt.com review

At first sight, BelgischeFlirt.com looks like a friendly and inviting dating platform. It seems to be a perfect place to meet Belgian singles, who are looking for new dating experiences, relationships, and love. For our review, we take a closer look at the offered features, the members’ area, and the terms of use. Unfortunately, the site cannot live up to its positive first impression. In fact, it turns out to be a rip-off.

    Subscription rip-off

The registration is free and can be completed in no time. As a free member, however, users can only create a personal profile, browse the members’ area, and use the search- and filter functions. But to be able to send chat messages to other members, they need a paid membership subscription.

There are several different subscriptions to choose from. The inexpensive trial-membership seems to be a great deal. But unfortunately, these trials are dangerous. Once expired, they are automatically converted to one of the costly long-term subscriptions. Moreover, all subscriptions renew automatically, if not cancelled in time. The site’s operator has got a poor reputation and is well known for subscription traps. Therefore, signing up for any of the offered memberships should better be avoided.

    Chatbots and fake profiles

To lure new users into becoming paying subscribers as fast as possible, BelgischeFlirt.com sends them computer-generated fake messages. As these messages appear to be sent by actual members, users are eager to reply quickly, for which they need an upgraded subscription.

Most member profiles seem to be fake. They are probably created by the site’s employees and can never be met in real life. Consequently, using this site is not only expensive, but also completely pointless.

The following excerpt is from the terms of use

We may from time to time offer users the ability to "Promote My Account" through Account Settings. Activating this service will mean that we will automatically broadcast custom messages created by any user, or selected from a default list of template messages, to other users. We reserve the right to select members to use the Promote My Account service. Sending of messages through this service will be free, however, recipients who view and choose to reply to a Promote My Account message, will require to have an upgraded Paid Membership in order to reply to the sender.

    Not trustworthy

The company responsible for this scam is Porticato Media Ltd, who are based in London, England. They run a whole network of rip-off websites and regularly receive negative customer reviews on the internet.

The conclusion from our BelgischeFlirt.com review

Unfortunately, BelgischeFlirt.com cannot be recommended at all. The site is a subscription rip-off and a fake message scam. Users are cheekily tricked into quickly signing up for a paid subscription, which will automatically be renewed over and over again. Also, the chances of finding someone for a date here are basically zero. The members’ pool contains many fake profiles, presumably created by the site’s employees.
