Initially, BDSMDate.com seems like a great website for adults to connect with others in the global BDSM community, and to find hookups. However, our review of this site found it to be a fake chat scam and a rip-off. In our experience, the risks of using this website outweigh any possible benefits.
Most visitors to this website would assume that it is a free dating service. However, that is not true. Because we also discovered that there are probably fake accounts here, we consider this website to be a rip-off and a scam. The operator of this website is Magnolia Blossom Inc, which is a company based in Delray Beach, in the USA.
Immediately after signing in to our account on BDSMDate.com, our inbox was bombarded with messages from supposed members. These messages were all sexually explicit, or enticing in nature, and they invited us to respond, and start a conversation. As our account was completely blank, it is quite suspicious that so many users would want to contact us. For this reason, we suspect that there are fake chat operators on this website.
We reserve the right to create accounts for quality control and administrative purposes. Such accounts may be publicly viewable.
Expensive to use
Another issue with this website is the price. It is not free, as most people would assume. Instead, users are required to either purchase an expensive monthly subscription, or buy a bundle of virtual currency, to access the important features of the site. Each message you want to send here will cost virtual “credits,” or require an upgraded membership. As we suspect that this website is full of fake profiles, we see this as a scam and a rip-off. There is no way of physically meeting fake chat operators, and conversations with them are not genuine.
