The result of our AltBuddies.com review: Our test on AltBuddies.com turned out to be an insufficient dating website.

The online dating website AltBuddies.com advertises with a large member’s pool and free registration. The offer sounds good, but it turns out that this website is a fake chat scam. It is operated by the Tyche Technologies AG, which runs much more than only this platform.

The tricks are always the same. On the landing page, the operator advertises with wrong and irritating information. Later fake operators entice the user to a chat without any sense as physical contact is not possible. But the user does not know about the fake conversation and assumes that all members are real. As the user pays money to send messages, it is a rip-off.

The online dating website AltBuddies.com advertises with a great offer. On the landing page, we read the following detail: “Join Now, It’s 100% free”. So we could assume that the use of the website is for free as well. But this is not true as after registration. The site charges a lot of money from its users. It is already the first irritating information to trick the user.

On the landing page, we also see a high number, which shows the number of active members. The website claims to have more than 40.000 active users and promises that here you will find a match for a hot date in no time. We also see some profile pictures on the landing page that also stands for a massive member’s pool. But those are all the wrong details. The portal AltBuddies.com is a fake chat and a rip-off.

The member’s pool of AltBuddies.com is full of fake profiles only. Our research also found some reviews that point out that it is not possible to find one real person here.

The rip off starts right after the registration. It does not take too long, and a new user receives messages from others. With mostly erotic content, those messages entice to a chat. But here appears the problem. The profiles of which the messages came from are fake and operated by fake operators. Plus, the user has to pay a fee to send messages.

Tyche Technologies AG operates the website. This company is located in Zug, Switzerland, and seems to be well-known in the online dating business. At least we found some negative reviews about the operator and its network of dating websites.
