Report for YummyHookups.com review

YummyHookups.com appears to be a promising, fun website, where users can easily meet or chat with local singles. Though there is not much information about what to expect from this site on their homepage, it displays some sample profiles. These profiles all picture attractive and genuine-looking women. There is also a section of the landing page which includes, what are supposedly, the latest status updates from members. All these updates contain sexually suggestive or flirtatious messages.

The operator of this website is Service Development LTD, who are a company based in Nicosia, in Cyprus. This dubious company has quite a poor reputation on the internet, for running scams and rip-offs. After our experiences, we have given them many negative reviews in the past. Since we were suspicious of this website, we did some further research.

Unfortunately, we found this website to be the same as the others in this operators’ network. It is a fake chat scam. At first sight, this website appears to be free to register on, and use. However, during our review of this platform, we discovered that they employ fake chat operators to communicate with users. Furthermore, it is not free to chat. Members must pay for a premium membership, to unlock this essential features of this dating portal. This is a rip-off because it is unlikely that you will meet a real person here.

Details on the YummyHookups.com review

Despite seeming promising at first, our experience with YummyHookups.com proved otherwise. The portal depicts itself as a great place to meet, find dates, and chat with local singles. From the homepage, most visitors to the website would think that the portal contains many attractive members to connect with. Unfortunately, we found that the operator of this website is running a fake chat scam on this dating portal. The operator of YummyHookups.com is Service Development LTD, a Cyprus-based company, who have a network of similar rip-off websites.

Misleading homepage

The landing page of YummyHookups.com suggests that this website provides an online dating service. Most users would assume that it is a place where they can find like-minded singles to chat and meet up with for dates. In our experience, this is not the case. Instead, this platform is largely populated with false profiles. These accounts are managed by fake chat operators, who will communicate with users. This is confirmed in the fine print on the website, and in the Terms and Conditions.

Excerpt from the Terms & Conditions (as of 11/10/2022)

From time to time, while You use Our Services, You may interact with automated online accounts and/or false profiles, which all its content has been generated by either: a) real persons that have been only contracted or employed by Us for the purposes set-forth below; or/and b) by automated programs or scripts, which dialogues none really exist and have been generated exclusively by programming (Hereinafter, collectively referred to as “Automated Profiles”).

According to the Bolstering Online Transparency Act or any other equivalent regulation that may be applicable, We have added the tag with the nickname “Digital Foxy” to all the Automated Profiles that are being used in Our Website, so You can clearly identify them. Such tag will always be displayed on the top bottom right of the user’s identification information.

Fake chat scam

Not only is this a misleading website, which uses ingenuine chat moderators, it is also a rip-off. The portal requires users to purchase a premium membership, if they want to send messages and replies, using the chatting feature. So, when the attractive looking fake chat operators send members enticing and suggestive messages, users will likely be encouraged to spend money to chat with them. The result is a waste of money and time.

In the terms, the operator claims that users can easily identify fake profiles because they are marked by the nickname, “Digital Foxy.” Though we were able to notice this nickname, users who did not read through the entire terms of service, would likely not know that this signifies a fictional account. Thus, this is a misleading scam. When conducting our review of this site, we noticed that messages immediately filled our inbox. All were from accounts marked by this nickname.

The conclusion from our YummyHookups.com review

We found YummyHookups.com to be a fake chat scam. Though it appears to be a great dating service from the outside, we did some digging into the terms of service, and discovered a fake chat scam. On this website, users must pay to use the chatting feature. This is a scam and a rip-off because most of the profiles are fake. Running into anyone real on this site does not seem likely at all.
