Uncovering TheLocalDate.com: A legit evaluation of the site

I've been on for 3 months. I spent up to $500.00 when I realized it didn't seem right. Great pics and texts, hot stuff! After texting with over 40 women, with a pretty good pick-up % in real life, I could not get a single lady to meet me for coffee, drinks, dinner, or anything. Then I started asking more complex questions and getting sexually oriented responses that were out of left field. The worst part is that over 60% of the ladies were porn pros with porn websites. I would get a nude from them and drop it into Google Image Search, and bingo, if it was published, it came up in a list. I am filing a complaint with the FBI Cyber Division tomorrow. They won't be up for long, even if they take a pound of Viagra!

The women u talk to are not real. They will try to keep you on and tease u to entice to stay an talk rack up more payments to buy credits. You will never meet these women. I got caught up in it. Now to being sad and lonely

This website supposed to be a dating service came across my phone while I was chatting on another dating site. It said it was absolutely free but i had to buy credits to finish a conversation. I simply left the site because it seemed fake. Like everything was scripted and designed to keep my buying credits. All the women were too good looking and pushy to keep talking nonsense. I never looked back or have the site another thought. Recently , on my cc I had asked to hear the last 10 transactions. There were 2:charges I did not recognize. This is the 1st time I have ever checked this card. I rarely use it. And it only has a $700 limit. I asked the cc company to send me one year if statements. I was shocked!!! TheLocalDate.com had been hitting my cc card twice month for $19.99 each time since December of 2023. Like every 14+16 days! They charged my card $39.98 per month for 13 months for a total of $519.74. All I did was enter my my information to have a free chat. I used my card to buy $10 worth of credits to finish a conversation. That is how they got my cc data. In their terms & conditions it states that if you do not use the site after 14:days they will charge u a maintenance fee of $19.99 once a month or every 14 days until u come back and use their site again or you terminate your account! That statement in their t&c is hidden way-way down the many pages of legal jargon! How can they do that! I thought I had wasted $10 on the fake site as it was. But now since I did not check this card activity I feel like I have been scammed for over $500. It seems to me that it is set up so they can slip their "absolutely free" maintenance fee right out of your wallet! This maintenance fee should be displayed in a clear and conspicuous manner before customers are charged this outrageous maint fee. It is purposely misleading and there is a complete failure to display themis term in a clear way! I feel like have been purposely scammed! I have visited a many singles sites in my day! I have never seen anything like this! Yes it is my fault that I did not check the cc activity for a year. But I just thought that since I rarely used it, that there was no reason to. I know better now! I wish there was something that could be done so I could get my money back! Isn't this fraudulent practices? It is sneaky & dishonest to me!

it looks like a real site,but response are vague they are stealing thousands of dollars from both men and woman and photo that are uploaded simply isn't there property. They locked me out of the account and spending over one hundred and receiving nothing

This is a complete scam site. Thelocaldate also is known for child porn and harassing/spamming very young kids with graphic content and trying to groom them.

The local date you use a credit card to buy credits and then your credit card has been hacked for memberships on other fake sites i, it seems like every month my card has new charges and I’ve never authorized any of them

basic rip-off. I sent them a phony number to see they respond telling me its the wrong number. they keep sending eroctic messages ignoring the phone number. scam

Warning!!!! After only spending a week on this site and realizing it was a scam I unsubscribed. A week later attempts were made to charge my card & $12.90 than a few days later another attempt of $6.90 than a few days later another attempted of $12.90. Cancel your cards!!!!!!!!!!

Sure looks like what people are saying is true. Th old saying if it looks too good to be true it probably is I don’t ever remember women being as foeward in all my single years

This local date.com is a rip off. They constantly ask a question after each text to get you to continue. Buying credits. Seen the same picture on two different date sites with different names and different profiles and ages. She is 44 on one and 45 on another. Married on one and divorced on the other. Sends mice nudes though. But yes scam.

The local date is a complete scam as soon as I got on there I had women hit me up like I was all new meat. Then I started watching the different comments piano through three different women and they were all answering very similar like it’s all textbook. This is people sitting in an office and a place that is stealing peoples money thinking that you’re getting a hook up, the one I asked where she was from she used a town my hometown, but had it word in a different way and I should know it’s this why don’t know it by like I’m like if you live here you know it by that and right away the answer come back about why do you do this and do that? Yeah no it’s all like scripted home, I’d likely I am put much into it but I hope other people will read this before hand. This is a scam.

TheLocalDate.com is the biggest rip off there is !!! Keep your credit cards in your wallet as was stated below, I too was conned out of $75 (far less than some others though). They make you buy credits to communicate with what you thought were beautiful horney women interested in hooking up with you for a sexual smorgasboard. Well think again as none of them will give you their name, their phone number, their address, or even a time, date, and location of a place to meetup. The ones this last week wanted to meet at businesses that don"t even exist in the little town I live in. Another clear indication that they are not from there as they said they were. The last 3 had such broken english that you could tell right away that you were not talking to the one in the picture. No more of this BS for me !!!

Your local date is a con. Within seconds of joining and paying a fee for a certain number of credits, hot looking women in various stages of undress and parted legs from your local area are wanting to meet and exchange hot conversations. I didn’t know there were that many hot women in my local area! And they are all fake and presumably from all over the world. They suck you in to hot conversation and photos which result in no meet because they are not real! Very quickly your credits are eaten up and you pay for more. I was caught for $ 400 before I realised this site is fake and I cancelled my credit card as a precaution

Same, I spent a couple hundred dollars on their site and yeah, great looking women but after some long conversations, sending them invites to lunch scheduling a week out, never did get a firm commitment or even a lunch date out of the deal. All I got was that they can't make plans that fast. THAT FAST? I gave them a week! Oh well. Conclusion? Nothing but a money making rip off preying on lonely people.

I have spent aout $3,000 on Credits trying to meet the right girl.They sometimes speak broken english which made me think something odd was going on.I have been stood up 3 times and have been promised hundreds of meets that never happen.I even give them my phone number but not one has called or met with me.The Local Date.com is as fake as fake can be.Nothing but a money making rip off preying on lonely people.

My son was on the site and they don't check to see if he was underage. After he spent a lot of money an agreement was sent to him. Luckily I caught this activity and they state in the agreement that it's for entertainment purposes only. But they wait for you To buy a certain amount of credits before they ask if your over 18. Luckily I was able to put a stop to it before he hit accept.. I took a screen shot of the agreement Is there a site to post this before another minor does not get caught up in this. It's a parents worse nightmare .

Article is totally right on point. I was told if you pay for your dating app you get better results. Unfortunately, I didn’t read this article first. I know to research before being scammed again. Use Image Source on iPhone. Images are from web and porn sites. Nothing on this site is legit. All profiles are fake. And yes, the site is expensive if you decide to play on it.

I have experienced exactly what you describe in your review and conclusion. I believe that the moderators used scripts to generate more messaging. This site is nothing more than an expensive messaging platform.

theLocalDate is totally a scam. tried to get even a name or location, let alone meet where ever they wanted, but kept getting back boiler plate messages, some completely unrelated to the questions asked. Looks like they have a few operators with unlimited fake profiles, possibly using AI to respond. Also, what real person answers back at any hour of the day or night? Every profile contacted, answered back immediately when trying to get me to use my messages
