Report on SugarBBW.com review

The dating site SugarBBW.com is intended for men who are into bigger women. The landing page is full of various promises that make signing up sound quite appealing. We can apparently find beautiful women here and invite them over. The operator claims this site is safe and will protect us from fakes and scams. But we don’t just want to rely on these claims, which is why we decide to sign up.

The operator of this site is InfraWeb Solution LTD. This company is located in Hong Kong. We are familiar with this Asian operator and its scam dating sites. We can only hope that SugarBBW.com will prove an exception to these. However, various negative online reviews immediately lower our expectations.

Is SugarBBW.com a rip-off?

Unfortunately, SugarBBW.com turns out to be a rip-off. Right from the start, InfraWeb Solution Ltd wants us to purchase trial membership. This is cheaper than the other paid forms of membership. Our options as free members on this site are very limited. Only a membership upgrade allows us to chat as much as we want. The cheap trial membership option is part of a cheeky subscription trap. If we don’t cancel it within a day, it turns into a monthly subscription.

In the terms and conditions, we found several statements that seem to indicate the use of computer-generated messages. Our other concern is the existence of countless fake profiles. We soon discover that the operator is responsible for these. They are part of a so-called fake chat scam. They are either managed by bots or controlled by fake chat operators. By sending real users seductive messages, they entice them into considering paid membership options.

Registration on SugarBBW.com

It doesn’t take us long to create our own profile. The operator promises registration can be completed within just a few minutes. We don’t have to upload a profile photo if we don’t want to. We are also not forced to share too many details about ourselves either. Our gender, age and name suffice for now.

As always, signing up requires a valid e-mail-address. SugarBBW.com sends us a verification mail that we need to activate to complete registration. By signing up, you automatically agree to the site’s terms and conditions. Furthermore, you accept that the operator can send you a newsletter.

Members’ area on SugarBBW.com

In the members’ section, we browse through numerous interesting profiles. Several overweight women from our area happen to be online as well. We can see their profile photos and send them a “like” to show interest. Unfortunately, we can’t view every photo until we purchase a so-called full membership.

What immediately caught our attention was a message in our inbox that popped up right away. It only took one or two seconds for our first interlocutor to find us and to send us a chat message. This seemed highly suspicious to us. And actually, we received more and more messages within just a short period of time. We were given a lot of compliments. There were however some messages we couldn’t read. These messages contained a timer. If we don’t upgrade our membership so we can read them within a certain timescale, they will be deleted.

Based on our previous experience, we know what we are dealing with here. These messages are computer-generated and sent to us by bots. We might also be dealing with fake chat operators who use such fake profiles to trick us. All this is done to make us buy paid membership. We can only send 5 messages a day as non-paying site members.

Terms and conditions of SugarBBW.com

Extract from the terms and conditions from the SugarBBW.com website. Current status of the terms and conditions as of April 29, 2021.

To boost interaction between our members and in order to notify them of newly registered matches and their activity (i.e. registration, photo upload etc.), we may, from time to time, use an automatic pop-up notification system and other communication channels e.g. inbox or instant messages to send Activity Notifications to you […] and some auto generated Activity Notifications may require an upgraded Paid Membership in order to see the content of message and reply to it.

Costs on SugarBBW.com

You can use SugarBBW.com free of charge, but basic membership doesn’t get you anywhere. We can choose from three different types of full membership, which differ in length and price. All are extended automatically until you cancel them. The operator only gives us the daily price for these forms of membership. The low figures make them look cheaper than they actually are. You need to pay using your credit card.

The most problematic form of membership is the trial membership option. For a total price of 0.99 USD, it is by far the cheapest option. You can only be a trial member for one day. After these 24 hours expire, trial membership transforms into monthly membership, which is more expensive than any of the other paid options. InfraWeb Solutions Ltd wants this important piece of information to remain a secret. This tactic means a lot of users will end up in a subscription trap. SugarBBW.com is a scam dating site.

Conclusion from our SugarBBW.com experience

Our experience on SugarBBW.com wasn’t positive at all. You might find attractive members in the members’ area, but they are not even real. It doesn’t matter who you are: on SugarBBW.com you will be greeted with seductive messages. The other profiles are managed by bots that send computer-generated messages. We are soon made to realize that our basic membership doesn’t allow us to continue chatting. We can either opt for cheap trial membership or just go for full membership right away.

The trial membership option is part of a subscription rip-off and subjects you to a pricey subscription trap. Several online reviews tell a very similar story. The operator of this site is InfraWeb Solution LTD.
