They do not bother admitting the use of fictitious profiles. Instead, they just warn that we cannot make them responsible for whatever the members may write. This leaves the door open to creating fantasy characters without being held accountable.

Further down, a few informative texts promote that here we can meet potential dates, and that the customer care staff is always available to help. There is no ambiguity, they clearly state that this service can help us find a date in our local area. Given our experience in this field, we can tell something is off, and they are probably promising more than they can deliver.

The portal is very insistent, constantly showing pop-up ads promoting packages or asking us to allow notifications. The profiles look fake and there are simply too many of them for such an unknown website. We start getting flirty messages as soon as we sign in for the first time. The interface looks very familiar, strikingly similar to other suspicious websites we have seen in the past. The main visual difference is that it is a little more colorful and decorated with purple tones. It is easy to find your way around on the platform.

Conclusion and recommendations

Nu-Date.com has a very familiar interface, known from other dubious dating portals. However, the business model is a little different this time around. We are presented with a sexy chat crowded with spectacular ladies. The company promises that it will be a breeze to meet women in our local area thanks to this service. Unfortunately, we couldn’t identify any real profiles. The company still tempts us to spend our money on exchanging messages with them.

The price per message is stiff, and whoever gets hooked will end up wasting a lot of money on a virtual entertainment experience that leads nowhere. The company behind this portal is Visual Lead, a new player in the online dating industry based in Romania.
