Report for LocalFlirtAlert.com review

LocalFlirtAlert.com advertises as a great way to meet singles nearby for sex or a relationship. The website is beautiful, and some thought was certainly put into it. We have great expectations! There is a free registration, which is always nice. We are quickly disappointed as the website makes outrageous claims, such as “3 million users worldwide” and finding partners “without spending money”. In fact, free users cannot do anything on this website.

We decided to investigate further for our review. As it turns out, most of the profiles are fake. The website and the service are operated by Meteor Interactive BV, which is based in Utrecht, Netherlands. They have a terrible reputation online, and they are known for running scam dating websites.

Details on the LocalFlirtAlert.com review

The dating website LocalFlirtAlert.com shows on the landing page a beautiful woman wearing lingerie. Below, we can see what seem to be profile pictures of female members. They are all reasonably attractive, which seems great! On the page we also read that the registration is free, and that this website is perfect for those looking for something new, fun, and exciting. This seems like a good opportunity to find “sexy flings”. We can register and create a profile for free, but this is useless. Owners of a free account cannot do anything else, other than set up a profile.

Apparently, there are more than 3 million members worldwide on this website. For reference, the most used dating website in the world has close to 11 million users. This means that LocalFlirtAlert.com should be one of the biggest and most successful dating websites. However, we have never heard of this site prior to this review. This seems fishy and we decide to investigate further. The website uses fantasy profiles

Excerpt from the Terms & Conditions (as of 10/05/2021)

Fictional entertainers’ profiles marked with a heart icon are for entertainment purposes only, physical contact with these profiles is not possible.

Once logged onto the website, most of the profiles carry a heart icon. This indicates that they are fictional profiles and therefore controlled by a fake chat operator. The use of fantasy profiles is not necessarily a bad thing, but the website puts forward the possibility of meeting someone, which is not true. Furthermore, to chat with the fake profiles, users must buy “credits”, which makes the whole thing a rip-off and scam.

The operator of the website is Meteor Interactive BV, which is a company based in Utrecht, Netherlands. This is not the first time that we have reviewed one of their rip-off dating websites. They often use the same methods. We found many negative user reviews regarding this company on the web. The experience that comes back the most often is of fake profiles.

The conclusion from our LocalFlirtAlert.com review

During our review we found out that the website uses fake chat operators and fake profiles. The users must buy “credits” to chat with those fake profiles. Therefore, we consider this website to be using fake chat operators and we cannot recommend it to anyone.
