Report for LocalFlirt.com review

LocalFlirt.com is a dating site operated by Gochamie Inc, from Orlando, Florida. The site promotes itself as a platform which allows adult users to browse, match, and message other profiles discreetly. Apparently, it is discreet enough to enable members to freely express their deepest desires. The conditions provide a flirtatious environment and increase the chances of meeting like-minded individuals. There are numerous profiles on the platform for users to choose from.

Moreover, they have supportive customer service that can be accessed 24/7 as outlined on their contact page. They have provided an email and phone number for customers with concerns. They also have an FAQ section which helps users get more out of the site. On the surface, LocalFlirt.com looks like a legitimate platform. However, our review indicated that this is a fake chat and a subscription rip-off.

The Terms and Conditions mention that there is no chance of a physical meet-up. They also admit that the profiles are only for entertainment purposes. The message at the bottom of their landing page contradicts this information. They ask users to flirt and meet with like-minded adults who are nearby. To chat with these profiles, members must buy “credits.” Alternatively, users can subscribe to the premium membership. This package gives them free messages, which are credited every 30 days, plus the ability to view profiles that have liked them.

Details on the LocalFlirt.com review

LocalFlirt.com runs a scam that rips off users who are looking to chat with, and meet, profiles on the site. Users hoping to meet others are likely to have an awful experience. Here is why.

Impossible to meet up

Gochamie Inc seems smart in trying to disguise the fact that LocalFlirt.com is a rip-off. This Florida-based organization has not used words like fictitious, or virtual, profiles. However, they stated that the profiles on the site are for entertainment only. This is a site for communicating electronically and is not intended for physical meetings. Despite knowing this, their landing page advertises them as a site where users can flirt and meet others. This can give unsuspecting members false hopes of a physical meeting, despite none being available.

Free or not

In their FAQ page, LocalFlirt.com claims there is no restriction on the number of messages a user can send. However, our review showed that users must purchase credits to chat with profiles. Users cannot send messages for free. There is no mention of this in the FAQ.

Some members may buy these credits or a premium subscription, hoping to meet up with the profiles, only to be disappointed. The Terms and Conditions state that the profiles are for entertainment. Profiles can only chat electronically, with zero chances of a physical meeting.

Excerpt from the Terms & Conditions (as of 21/12/2023)

We provide entertainment and flirting services through our website.

The website is a platform for users and premium members to communicate electronically with the profiles and is not intended for physical meetings.

A complete subscription scam

LocalFlirt.com provides a subscription package which credits their accounts with free messages, every thirty days. They can also view profiles that have liked them and reciprocate the same, to get a match. This subscription auto-renews at the end of each period. Users looking to cancel must do so at least 24 hours prior to the end of the period, to avoid recurring charges.

We believe the Florida-based site has done this to make money from users who are unaware of these timelines. That, coupled with the fact that they are unlikely to meet their match, makes us believe the site is a scam.

The conclusion from our LocalFlirt.com review

In our experience, sites which establish profiles for entertainment purposes and promise members a meeting, are often rip-offs. LocalFlirt.com is a fake chat because it asks members to buy credits to chat with profiles they will never meet. There is little effort to emphasize this reality. They are also a subscription rip-off because users must unsubscribe at least 24 hours before the next renewal date. Therefore, users looking to meet people should avoid this site.
