LetsHangOut.com is a completely free online dating site. However, the operator of this platform has chosen to remain anonymous. Visitors are only provided with an e-mail address, but we don’t know any other details. Not even where the company is registered, which is a major issue, but there are others. It seemed like there was little activity on the platform, and there were obviously quite a few fake accounts, while some others did look real. You may have to exercise your discernment if you ever want to take your chances on this portal.
The website looks as if it had come out of the early 2000s. The landing site claims that users can find friendships, hookups, or even romantic relationships here. Users can view a selection of profiles and an overview of the newest members. The website hosts a forum, a chat, and a collection of articles. In fact, the operator invites us to write our own articles, which may get featured on the site. Apparently, they had one thousand unique visitors per day in 2018, but this was a while ago. However, there is still activity on the forums.
For this review, we created a simple profile and checked out the members’ area. We also examined the Terms of Service in great detail. There was nothing noteworthy there except for the fact that the operator’s name was left out. We were on the fence when reviewing this dating portal. There were some obvious concerns, and unless you are very skilled at identifying fake profiles, we’d recommend that you try your luck elsewhere.

LetsHangOut.com is a 100% free online dating portal created by an unknown operator. The landing site looks dated and way too busy. It is mainly aimed at users in the US of a mature age. Or, at least, that was what it seemed to be within the bulk of the people that made up the members’ area. This isn’t surprising as younger users will certainly prefer something more modern. Even if it doesn’t cost anything or look like a rip-off, we believe there are better options out there.

In the members’ area, users can use the filters to select people that match their preferences. We were surprised to see that a few accounts came across as authentic. Therefore, we wouldn’t exactly call it a fake chat service. Still, other profiles were clearly fake based on our experience in reviewing dating sites. These free platforms tend to become a breeding ground for professional scam artists. We were able to tell fictitious profiles from real ones in most cases. However, keep in mind we’ve written hundreds of reviews, so we have a trained eye for this kind of thing.

No matter how much we tried, we couldn’t find anything to pay for here. However, there are many options for the users to engage in. The portal offers direct messaging, e-mail, a friends list, live chats, as well as video and audio calls. The Terms and Conditions don’t contain any concerning paragraphs, but we dislike how the company remains anonymous. The members’ area is mostly men looking for a hookup, but the selection is very limited. Some profiles are obviously scammers, but we cannot say it is a fake chat rip-off. However, according to our experience, it is probably better to find alternative websites.

used this site over 4 years no one on there but scammers asking for gift cards and money pay to meet them they say.... have not met one real person yet 99% fake pics and profile info... most profiles are Generic copied info claiming to have blonde hair? While their profile pics show different i have also run into multiple Men posting fake profiles as females...... they also use fake pr spoofed numbers for contact this site in my opinion should be investigated and shut down they are Only in Business to harvest personal info and steal identities after 4 years of personal investigations into many scam sites world wide i have found this site to be the Most cruelest of them all...they select who you can message in many cases saying your over the daily limit for sending messages even after only sending 2 that day. Do NOT post your real info on this site period most of these people are in Africa and India very few less than 2% or in the U S states.
