Report for Cupidabo.com review

The landing page of Cupidabo.com invites all readers to sign up, and contact someone new, to chat and meet. Apparently, you just need to answer a few simple questions, to start connecting with real singles, who are living in your local area. This platform seems to be the right place for everyone who is searching for genuine friendships, meaningful experiences, and long-term relationships. On the contrary, it might be the wrong choice, if you are interested in casual sexual encounters.

Cupidabo.com claims to be the perfect dating platform to connect with thousands of singles, who are looking for romance and love. To find out whether this website is safe to use, we created a test profile. We also had an in-depth look at the Terms and Conditions, and the Privacy Policy. Furthermore, we searched the internet for past users’ reviews. Unfortunately, it turns out that Cupidabo.com is nothing more than a scam, with a fake chat.

The member’s area contains fantasy profiles, which are created and controlled, by professional moderators, who do not correspond to any real users. Their goal is to lure genuine members into spending money on the platform. Since it is not possible to date a fictional character, your chances of meeting someone in real life, are close to zero. The company responsible for this rip-off is Alphascale Media GmbH. They are based in Manno, in Switzerland.

Details on the Cupidabo.com review

The landing page of Cupidabo.com is almost completely empty. Not only are there no pictures, which is quite strange for a dating website. It also does not provide potential users with any information about the service that they offer, or the relevant costs. All that we can see is the registration form, and the promise that the site contains profiles of real local singles, who are available for genuine dates.

We are always immediately skeptical, when we come across a dating platform that does not provide sufficient details. People are expected to sign up for something, without knowing anything about it. This usually ends up in a massive waste of time, and sometimes, even money.

Fake profiles

As soon as we access the member’s area, we realize that something does not look right. It takes just a few seconds, before we start to receive erotic messages from attractive girls. Somebody without any experience with online dating, might be pleasantly surprised by this sudden popularity. But we know that this never happens on an honest website, where new subscribers hardly get any attention.

We decide to check the Terms and Conditions, searching for signs of a possible fake chat scam. Here, the site’s operator admits that Cupidabo.com contains fictional profiles, with which any physical contact is prohibited. The fact that they acknowledge the fake chat, does not make it less of a rip-off. These accounts are not marked as fictitious. Therefore, it is impossible to distinguish them from genuine ones.

Excerpt from the Terms & Conditions (as of 06/09/2022)

The portal may contain fake profiles created and controlled by the website with which it is not possible to arrange real encounters. The reason for such profiles being on the portal is therefore that of entertaining the user for promotional purposes and other reasons.

A new operator

The purpose of these fake profiles is to lure members into a long, costly, and useless conversation. New subscribers can send only 2 messages for free. After that, they have no choice, other than to spend a lot of money, if they want to keep chatting.

Alphascale Media GmbH, is the Swiss company from Manno, who run Cupidabo.com. This is the first review that we have written about them. We checked their reputation on the internet, but we could not find any reliable testimonials. Therefore, we must conclude that they are probably a new, and untrustworthy operator, to be wary of.

The conclusion from our Cupidabo.com review

Cupidabo.com proposes itself as a great choice for everyone who is looking for local singles to connect with. The absence of erotic pictures on the landing page, makes it look quite professional. But the lack of important information, rings an alarm bell. After extensive research, we can confirm that this is not a safe dating platform. Most of the profiles in the member’s area are fake. Real-life meetings are almost impossible.
