Introduction
BisexualPlayground.com is a dating site for people with alternative sexual preferences. Despite the name, it isn’t aimed exclusively at bisexuals. Here you can find people who are into all sorts of kinks and alternative lifestyles. However, the members’ area is mostly populated by men. The photos are quite explicit, and they’re clearly not models, which are commonly used on fake dating sites. The conversations on the forum, user updates, and personal ads feel raw and authentic. There also seems to be quite a lot of activity every single day.
My research also shows that prices are quite reasonable, and users can purchase a membership with no automatic renewals. This platform was launched over two decades ago, and the design hasn’t kept up with the times. However, considering all of its pros and cons, it’s worth taking a look and seeing if the site appeals to you.

Usability and design
First impression
My first thought about the website is that it looks dated. It was created in 2002, and it shows, as it most likely hasn’t been revamped since. It also looks crowded, and even the user photos look like they were taken 20 years ago. The portal entices users with chats, contests, forums, private communications, and much more. Users are invited to sign up for free to meet all kinds of open-minded individuals. To be honest, it looks quite sad, and even if it’s a real dating site, I didn’t feel tempted by it.
Navigation
The content on the platform is very explicit. Even though we cannot see the photos, the status updates, users’ sexual interests, and polls make it very clear: this isn’t a website to find love. Even though the structure of the site can be a little overwhelming, it’s intuitive enough and gives users the opportunity to explore many different options. It’s not too bad, and in my opinion, it can spark the users’ curiosity. Interestingly, there seems to be a lot of activity on the forum. However, it looks like there are mostly males on the platform.
Registration process
To create your account, start by choosing a username. Users must also indicate whether they’re a couple or a single person. Then, users are redirected to a separate page, where they can continue adding details such as a password and an email address. On the next page, we have to complete another form where they’ll choose their country, postcode, gender, date of birth, sexual orientation, race, interests, etc. Users can also add a description of themselves and their ideal first date. Next, they’ll be redirected to the members’ area, where they can upload a profile picture if they want to.
Functions and tools
Main functions
The features of the platform are mostly self-explanatory: Mail: This is your personal email to exchange longer format messages with platform members only. Online: Check who’s currently online. Search: Find your type by applying different search filters. Browse: Take a look at the members out there.
Chat: Here you can communicate with other users one-on-one. Friends: Your own list of pals on the platform. Forum: Discuss any topics publicly with other members. Interests: Showcase what you’re into and find others that like the same things. Personals: Private ads to find hook-ups in your local area.
Communication tools
On this platform, users can choose from private conversations in a chat, longer letters, public discussions in the forum, personal ads, etc. The variety of communication methods makes me believe this website is real. Furthermore, the multiple topics in the forum and the rawness of the replies let me know that there’s quite a lot of activity on the platform. There are several new threads made on the forum every single day. There are also personal ads made by people all over the country. At least users can see that the interactions and profiles are real.
Security and data protection
Privacy policy
The main privacy issue is that the profiles are public. Anyone who visits the site can see them. This is discussed in the Privacy Policy. Therefore, it would be wise to somehow anonymize your photos before you upload them, as there aren’t any tools to do so on the platform. Furthermore, don’t post any personal information.
Security measures
As the website is quite explicit, I’m quite pleased to see there is a “Discreet Mode” available. Any potentially illegal images, as well as photos that portray someone else, are strictly prohibited. Furthermore, payments are billed discreetly, with no mention of the domain name, to protect the users’ privacy. The site’s operator doesn’t mention anything about how payments are secured.

Target group analysis and matching quality
Demography
Being an explicit website, BisexualPlayground.com is aimed at adults. The domain name sounds like this site will be a fun site for bisexuals, of course. However, once users scratch the surface, they’ll see that it welcomes all sexual orientations, gender identities, couples, and all sorts of kinky and open-minded people. Due to this, the site may turn off more vanilla bisexual folks. When I take a look at the current activity on the page, particularly in the forum, it becomes obvious that there are mostly men on the platform and very few women, if at all.
Costs and price-performance ratio
Free vs. paid functions
Free functions: As a free user, you get 30 days of free trial. Users can’t see profile pictures, but they can read everything else on them. They can also read the forum threads and ads.
Paid functions: Paying users get to initiate chat conversations and see all photos and galleries on the site. They can become featured members and view premium profiles. Furthermore, only paid members are able to see who’s viewed their profiles. They can also create exclusive chat rooms, and they have access to more specific search criteria.
Price structure
When users sign up, they get 30 days of free trial, but with limited access to the website. The platform offers monthly subscriptions that renew automatically. In addition to this format, there are also one-time payment memberships for different amounts of time. The following options are available:
The website accepts credit and debit card payments, checks, money orders, online checks, and even affiliate points. Users’ bank statements will either read “Open Dreamers LLC” or ccbill.com. The prices seem quite reasonable compared to similar services. From my experience, it is also positive to note that the user can choose between making a one-time payment or a monthly renewing subscription.

Conclusion and recommendations
BisexualPlayground.com is a dating platform for people who are into all kinds of alternative sexualities. Men, women, couples looking for threesomes, and other lifestyles are welcome on the platform. In my experience, the platform seems legit, and the prices are quite reasonable. However, there are almost only men on the site.
Open Dreamers LLC, from Pennsylvania, is the company behind the website. The platform was created in 2002, and it shows. The design has probably stayed the same ever since. User reviews indicate that it isn’t a fraud, but some users complain they didn’t find what they were looking for. If you want a site that feels current, or if you’re looking for women, you should probably look elsewhere.

I'm a current member. Don't believe everything anybody posts, like it's 100% gospel. It's the same as most other sites. You reap what you sow. You gotta post. You gotta send icebreakers. You gotta comment. Those things trigger people to click to you. Just like SEO for websites. Stuff links together like a domino effect or a gingerbread trail. Most unfavorable comments are from folks who put little or no actual effort, and the fact of the matter is, free trials are mostly to see how the interface looks and works for a week, but when being able to see other members profiles or images, or send or reply to messages, when those are no longer available, what on earth is trial member "So-&-So" EXPECTING ? You have to do a REAL membership or you can't talk smack about anything. I've been a member here twice for a year or more both times and if you have just 1 real hookup that right there pays for itself. Life isn't free. You'll spend the cost of a YEAR membership AT LEAST over the course of a year OFFLINE on bars, drinks, cover charges, uber, etc.. Think about it. Don't Complain. Stop whining. Get your brain out of your butt. You can figure it out. If you really really really want to....
i found out they been charging me $20 every few weeks since i tried the free trial period and decided not to stay,. I just got it taken off by my bank
sent in fee for 1 year membership...11 days later...cant get any response from them...plus no membership...scam....ripoff
