Report on AmourFactory.com review
At first sight, AmourFactory.com seems to be a reliable site which offers ordinary dating. The landing page looks appealing due to a fresh design. Registration is free, and we learn that a matching algorithm even helps users to find their better half. However, after conducting some research online, and reviewing the terms and conditions, we can only recommend against signing up. This website uses fake chat operators who manage fake profiles. They lure users into spending money. It is an expensive rip-off with a fake chat scam.
Even before registering on AmourFeel.com, we began to have serious doubts about the probity of the operator who runs this site, when we opened the terms of service page. They are a company called Interpillar LTD, registered in Los Angeles, USA. We do not know them. But what put us on our guard was that the TOS were identical in every respect to those of another scam site we had recently tested. We got confirmation of this by creating a test profile. Not only was the overall experience the same, but the profiles themselves were just a copy/paste as well.
All the women on AmourFactory.com supposedly come from Ukraine, Belarus, or Russia, even if it cannot be said that these three are currently the best buddies in the world. The ladies may or may not be real. There is no actual way to find out, but what our experience taught us is that they are paid to chat with users. They make them spend money like drunken sailors. Everything on this site is subject to a “credit” fee, like sending, or reading an email, or opening an attached photo. The conversations thus become very quickly prohibitively expensive.
The internet is literally overflowing with negative reviews about this website from former users. They naively thought they were going to find love on a site where there is not a single ugly woman, let alone a normal one. All profiles look like an endless variation of Kim Kardashian. The fun part is that the site’s moderators take the trouble to respond to every single review. This was an opportunity for us to see that, from site to site, we were dealing with the same team of moderators, with the same surreal level of response.
One user was surprised that Ukrainian women have nothing better to do than pose in their underwear in front of the mirror while taking selfies. The moderators replied that on the contrary, “due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, they have no choice but to stay home and distract themselves from the surrounding situation”. This is actually hopelessly cynical.
Despite what the moderators claim, it is not possible to meet anyone on this platform, even is users shell out hundreds of dollars to get the contact details of the person they are chatting with. The lady will then suddenly ghost them, or the user’s account will be blocked. This is what happened to the people who were ripped off by AmourFactory.com.
Our own experience was similar. We played for a while with the 20 free credits the website grants to new users. We chatted with a model-like girl who sent us a picture of her bottom within minutes. In the meantime, our inbox was filling up with messages from other equally gorgeous ladies asking us random questions out of the blue. These first messages are computer-generated, of course, something that the site calls “Icebreakers” in their TOS. This is merely a sophisticated way of saying “chatbots”.

Is AmourFactory.com a rip-off?
We strongly advise you do not fall for it. This whole experience is clearly designed to be nothing more than a cheeky scam and a total rip-off. All communication is undoubtably scripted, and we noticed that the platform was only alive when we were coming back on it. Suddenly, if we started scrolling again, we were receiving messages and notifications. Consequently, it is not possible to experience a genuine flirt here, let alone a real date.
Reading the TOS gave us clear evidence of the scam and the modus operandi. The operator relies on third-party agencies who validate the girls as “Trusted members”. The system then sends automatic messages to new members on their behalf. The girls, if they are real women, take the lead when users have taken the bait. Clearly, “trusted members” is newspeak for untrustworthy.
Registration on AmourFactory.com
Registering on AmourFactory.com is free and does not take too long. To trigger the matching algorithm, users need to answer a few questions about their personality, likes and hobbies. So, we created a second profile and gave different answers to all the questions. Only to realize, once in the members’ area, that the profiles presented to us were exactly the same. Additional information includes the usual valid email address, nickname, password, date of birth, and profile picture.
At the end of this process, users are given some short statements to read, the following being particularly edifying about how the scam works: “We have members on the site that chose to get through a detailed verification procedure and get status “validated,” But, you are not required to get verified to join the website.” Not only are we “not required to”, but we cannot even ask for it, so how did all the others do?
Members’ area on AmourFactory.com
The first thing we noticed when entering the members’ area was that it was an exact copy of other scams sites we have tested before. There are the same profiles, the same options, and the same pricing. Here, as well, we found a Facebook-like feed called “news feed.” Here, only “Trusted Users” could post a status or pictures.
Above each picture, we could read the same kind of witless truisms, such as, “All people on earth have unique eyes. Everyone is the universe”, and sometimes even the same comment above different pictures. Another main difference with a social network feed, powered by real people, is that here, moderators only have a limited number of photos of the girls. So, the same ones quickly reappear in the feed, on absolutely every profile. What real person would do that, really?

Terms and conditions of AmourFactory.com
Extract from the terms and conditions from the AmourFactory.com website. Current status of the terms and conditions as of April 29, 2021.
We may allow our Trusted Members to choose to send the same messages ("Icebreakers") to a number of other Members, who are randomly selected in order to allocate the attention and activity among Members of the Service. [...] You may receive Icebreakers from the same Trusted Member more than once. Icebreakers may be sent through the same channels as ordinary messages, including as a chat or mail message. [...] In order to reduce the chance that Icebreakers are used for spam, commercial, or other improper purposes, we do not allow Members other than Trusted Members to send Icebreakers.
Costs on AmourFactory.com
Users get 20 credits for $2.99 on their first purchase, instead of $9.99. 50 credits cost $19.99. It is $44.99 for 125. Then it is $69.99 for 250, and $149.99 for 750. This is what the website asks, for “requesting a meeting” with one of the ladies. Requesting personal contact details is free by the way, if users have already spent 3000 credits on communication, which equals approximately $600.00.

Conclusion from our AmourFactory.com experience
AmourFactory.com is nothing more than a total rip-off. It is the exact copy of some other scam sites featuring the exact same tricks. The same fake profiles are controlled by paid moderators, to lure users into shelling out expensive credits on fruitless communication in the fake chat. When they feel they have plucked enough cuckoos, the gorgeous ladies suddenly vanish, or users find their account blocked when they wake up. The website is operated by Interpillar LTD, a company registered in Los Angeles, USA.
The bad news is that spending hundreds of dollars will not increase one iota the chances of a real date on this site. Their very purpose is only to fool as many love-seeking people as possible.
