Report for TrulyFilipino.com review
TrulyFilipino.com is a platform for the Filipino community. But it is also for those who would like to date a Filipino. The site looks legit, but during our review, we found that this site is full of fictitious profiles. It is a fake chat scam. Some reviews from former users also mention the same thing. Furthermore, there are also complaints on the internet, about a subscription rip-off. The operator of this website is Rometic BV. This company is based in Amsterdam, in The Netherlands. This company also runs other dating platforms. All of them look quite similar, but they target different countries.

Details on the TrulyFilipino.com review
The operator Rometic BV runs different dating sites. All of them look quite similar, but they operate in different countries. This platform gave us a good first impression. For this review, we signed up to test the platform. Unfortunately, according to our experience while using the site, this platform is a fake chat scam. We received several messages soon after registering, and while our profile was still empty. That is enough for us to be sure that they were sent by fake profiles.
Registration on the platform TrulyFilipino.com is free. Apart from that, there is little that can be done without paying. New users can send some free messages on the platform. But this option is very limited. After sending a free message, the user must wait for 10 minutes to send another one. Those who really want to have a conversation, must pay for a membership. The platform offers a 7-day trial for only 2.95 USD. However, this trial subscription will renew automatically into a monthly subscription, which costs 28.95 USD.
Mixed reviews
We read both positive and negative reviews on the internet. On the positive side, some former users mention that they found dates and even a life partner here. On the other hand, we also read negative reviews by former customers. These complain about scams. In some cases, the customers mentioned that the site is a subscription rip-off. They were not aware that the trial membership will renew automatically into a monthly subscription.
This is a very common problem on many platforms. The operators do not provide clear information about the auto-renewal, or they give it in a format that is not easy to find or to read. This is not a mistake. The operators know what they are doing by providing the information this way. They expect that many customers do not read the text. Therefore, the customers will only realize the trick once they are charged for the monthly subscription. Even if they cancel later, the company has already managed to charge them for a full month. It is a cheeky rip-off.
The conclusion from our TrulyFilipino.com review
TrulyFilipino.com gives a positive first impression. However, after using the platform, we found that this site is a fake chat scam. Additionally, on the internet, we read some reviews from former users, which describe their bad experiences. They mention that the trial membership is a trap and complain that the site is a subscription rip-off.

I signed up, not only to TrulyPhilipino but also to TrulyThai and TrulyAsia and even though I canceled the subscription almost immediately, they continued to bill me even though I canceled everything. Since I had other credit cards, I implemented a strategy aimed at maintaining a low amount on the card for 6 months. After this time, the scammers gave up on invoicing and now I can use my credit card freely again. Stay away if you can, they are scammers.
I went for the free trial. I was careful to notify them before the trial finished, that I did not wish to renew my subscription. But they charged me for a month subscription anyway!!! They stole that money from me. The only way to prevent them from stealing more money, was to cancel my credit card!! BEWARE!!! FRAUD!!!
