Report for Seeking.com review
Seeking.com advertises with a great offer. But, on the internet, the reputation of this dating platform is terrible. We did some research and we found a lot of negative reports. Former customers complain about a fake chat and that it is not possible to find on real person on this site.
Moreover, the website will charge a lot of money for a premium-membership. This means that the offer of a free registration is misleading information. Plus, the subscription for this premium-membership will extend automatically, if it is not terminated in time. As we see it, that is used as a trap here. The operator of the site is W8 Tech LTD, based in Nicosia, Cyprus.

Details on the Seeking.com review
At first sight, the online dating website Seeking.com looks great. On the landing page we see a happy couple holding hands. This site advertises with a promising slogan. It claims that here a user will find a great partner for a perfect relationship. Plus, the website looks classy. We assume that the users of the site are classy as well. The website shows a button on the landing page which indicates that it is possible to join the site free.
So, it seems like registration and the use of the site is free as well. We do not see any information about costs on the great-looking landing page. Additionally, the process of registration seems to be simple. It only takes a few steps to create a profile and to start the search for the perfect partner.
This site is a fraud
We do have to mention that the first appearance of the online dating website Seeking.com is great. This site has got a modern design and advertises a great offer. But we did some research on the internet and found a lot of negative reports from former customers. Despite how good this site looks, there are terrible reports about the platform. We found out that this site uses fake profiles. Those fake profiles show fictional people. Of course, it is not possible to meet a fictional person. But the website advertises with the slogan that you can find a great match and more.
It turns out, that the great appearance and the promising offer are just made up. According to the information that we found it is not possible to find a real person on this site. Also, a user will pay a high price to have a chat with a fictional profile.
Reports about a fake chat and a subscription trap
Right after the registration, a new member will receive many messages from other profiles. Of course, a new user will assume that those profiles show real people. But, as far we know, the profiles are all fake and controlled by operators. They will get in touch with a new member. With many messages, they persuade the new member to pay for a premium-membership. An operator will not identify as such. Also, a fake profile is not marked as such. So, the user will pay a lot of money and does not know about the moderated chat. That is the reason why this site is a cheeky rip-off. The operator of the site mentions the purpose of “entertainment” in the terms and conditions
Excerpt from the Terms & Conditions (as of 30/12/2020)
THIS SITE IS FOR ENTERTAINMENT AND INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY.
We also found reports about a subscription trap
The reputation of the online dating website on the internet is really bad. Former customers complain about the fake chat and that it is not possible to find a real person here. We also found reports about a cheeky subscription trap. It seems that the automatic renewal of the subscription is used as a trap. We must mention that an automatic renewal does not have to be dangerous in general. The portal is managed by W8 Tech LTD., based in Nicosia, Cyprus.

They have started a new scam. They nowadays suspend my account after I upgrade and pay. They do this saying my photo was not right even for a photo where the face does not show. There are real profiles on the site but the site suspends your membership one or two days after you pay and requires that you provide a government issued ID proof.
