Report on Polygamy.com review
Although the name speaks for itself, it took us a little time to understand what this peculiar dating website was all about. Initially, we thought the term was to be understood in a figurative way, and that the site catered to those who wanted to experience and share their kinks as a group. However, we soon realized that Polygamy.com was a dating platform, literally promoting multiple unions. Even though polygamy is only legal in only a handful of Muslim countries, the service is not specifically aiming at Muslims. It is directed at anyone who is interested in polygamous unions.
The owner of the site is Mr. Azad Chaiwala, a UK born entrepreneur, and fervent advocate of Polygamy. According to his website, he met success after he settled in Dubai, where his company Rivers Of Honey LTD is now registered, and he became a multi-millionaire with his business. Along with the other dating websites he operates, Mr. Chaiwala has made a name in the online gaming industry, and in the education industry, selling computer programming or graphic design seminars online. However, is the fact that the owner of the site is a public figure enough to recommend subscribing to it?
Our review shows that chances are high that the benefit will all go back to Mr Chaiwala alone. Former users online point out that they never had a successful match on the platform, since most accounts were either inactive or fake. According to their experience, the paid memberships were useless in fulfilling their needs. While this is certainly not a scam or a rip-off per se, these users mention that they would never have taken out a membership, had they known that the platform was so low on traffic.

Is Polygamy.com a rip-off?
Polygamy.com claims to be the largest polygamy matchmaking service available online. It offers free registration, and advertises with verified profiles, unlimited searches, and a safe and secure chat environment. Although a paid membership is necessary to use the platform and send messages to other members, we did not spot any hint of a subscription rip-off while consulting the terms of service, or in our online search. Cancellation seems pretty straightforward. However, not concealing a scam is certainly not reason enough to recommend subscribing to Polygamy.com, due to our overall negative experience with the platform and comments online.
Even though Polygamy.com does not appear to be a scam, we cannot recommend it. We do not think it is worth the money. It is not free, and the chances of finding a matching partner seem rather low. All in all, shelling out for a premium membership on this platform is a mere waste of time and money.
Registration on Polygamy.com
On the positive side, we must say that registering on Polygamy.com was particularly long and tedious. In fact, this is a good thing since, we had no other choice than to create a very detailed profile. We were asked to provide physical information as well as a short description about who we were, and the kind of partner we were looking for. Additional information included a valid email address, a username and password, and a profile picture.
This thorough process made browsing through profiles much more enjoyable later on, when we gained access to the members’ area.
Members’ area on Polygamy.com
In our experience, the members’ pool features a wide range of people of various ages, ethnicity, or religious background. The alleged fake profiles mentioned in online reviews do not seem to be created by the site’s operator. Polygamy.com claims in its TOS that all profiles are manually checked and approved, and that fraudulent profiles will be rejected and banned. It is not something we experienced during our review, even though our test profile ticked all the boxes, and deserved to be rejected.
We were also not able to prove the allegations of fake profiles, because we could not contact other members without a premium membership. What we can say, however, is that most of the profiles were either incomplete, or seemed inactive. Furthermore, the technology behind the site is rather outdated, and concurred to make the overall experience negative.
Costs on Polygamy.com
Registering on Polygamy.com is free. However, a free account does not allow users to do much on the platform, besides browsing through profiles and reading their description. No interaction can take place unless they buy a premium recurring membership, starting at $20 per month or $45 for 3 months. Payment must be made through PayPal. We can only regret that the free membership is not sufficient to have a glimpse of the kind of interaction we could expect on this platform, or if there is any interaction possible at all.
Conclusion from our Polygamy.com experience
Even though Polygamy.com does not appear to be a scam, we would not entirely recommend subscribing to it. We simply do not think it is worth the money. Using the platform is not free, and the chances of finding a matching partner seem rather low. Moreover, the operator of the site, Rivers Of Honey LTD, a company based in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, is already well-known for some other dating platforms. Some of which have a bad reputation. They have received numerous negative customer reviews.
Polygamy.com is not free of ill comments, either. Former users point out that their premium membership was basically useless, since they were not able to contact any women on this site. The members’ pool features many fake profiles and inactive accounts. As we see it, shelling out for a premium membership on this platform is a mere waste of time and money.
