This website advertises itself as a casual dating site with the goal of helping its users find a “perfect match for those cold nights.” This sounded like a promise that was way too good.

However, the landing page doesn’t provide any information about what users might find after registering. It had no information about the site, nor did it mention anything about its features. Even the number of registered members was not revealed. None of that is considered a positive aspect for the site.

After thorough research, we found out that NorseDates.com was a fake chat scam. This platform uses “fake chat” operators. They operate fake profiles by pretending to be real users to lure actual users into chatting. To use the chat feature, users must pay to become premium members, since registering can only get users a basic membership. Moreover, there was no info about the number of registered members.

Based on our experience of dealing with fake dating profiles, we knew that the lack of information was a clear indicator of a scam. That is the reason why we received many messages with explicit erotic content right after we registered for an account.  We weren’t informed about fictitious profiles, and anyone could easily mistake the fake profiles as genuine. Therefore, nobody is considered trustworthy on this platform.

When entering the members’ area, a window appears. It advertises an offer for unlimited messages at only $16.99 within a time frame of 24 hours. We dug a little deeper with our research to try and find signs of a subscription rip-off. Users can create accounts and obtain a basic membership for free. This allows users to view other members’ profiles and send a few messages. For a longer conversation, or gaining access to additional features, coins must be purchased.

Coins are available in different packages depending on their quantity. The only positive point is that this website doesn’t operate any recurring payments.
