Report for MyPapik.com review

MyPapik.com is an online dating and social networking website operated by Virtelix LTD, an English company registered in Hampton. This was our first time reviewing an online platform from this operator, and unfortunately, the experience raised several red flags. While researching MyPapik.com, we came across some negative reviews about the service provided. These, combined with our own experience on the platform, painted a troubling picture. Shortly after registering, we noticed what appeared to be a subscription rip-off.

The most alarming aspect was the 7-day subscription package priced at 12.99 pounds. This package does not allow for the standard 14-day cooling-off period required to cancel automatic renewals, effectively trapping users into ongoing payments. We consider this a classic subscription scam tactic. Based on our investigation, we believe MyPapik.com is not a trustworthy dating service. Its deceptive practices and lack of transparency suggest it is more focused on exploiting users than offering a genuine dating experience.

Details on the MyPapik.com review

During our time on the platform, it became clear that Virtelix LTD’s primary objective is not to provide a genuine online dating experience, but rather to mislead customers into purchasing subscription packages, especially one that is highly problematic. According to the Terms and Conditions, users are told they can cancel their subscriptions at any time. However, this is misleading. In practice, the cancellation policy is designed in such a way that users who purchase the 7-day package are effectively unable to cancel before the subscription renews automatically.

Here’s how it works: MyPapik.com operates with an automatic renewal policy that requires users to cancel at least 14 days before the renewal date. This condition is impossible to meet for customers who purchase a 7-day package, as the subscription renews on day 7, long before the required 14-day notice period can be met. As a result, users are automatically charged for another subscription cycle, often without realizing it until it’s too late.

Excerpt from the Terms & Conditions (as of 16/08/2025)

7. Cancelation and Refund policy. 7.1. All charges of User for purchases of MyPapik services and/or products are non-refundable unless otherwise permitted by MyPapik policies and applicable law.

7.2. If User signed up for renewable service, the User can cancel the service by sending a request via email: support@mypapik.com at least for 14 (fourteen) days before the day of renewal. In case of cancelation the User acknowledge and agree that the MyPapik service is not required to provide the refund or any compensation to the User for full or partially used period.

The subscription rip-off

Even after cancelling, users are still typically charged for the full duration of the renewed period, making it extremely difficult to escape the trap without incurring additional charges. In effect, the 7-day package functions as a hook to pull customers into longer-term billing cycles, with no realistic chance of opting out in time. This kind of deceptive practice is what we define as a subscription rip-off. It misleads users with a low-cost trial and then locks them into recurring payments under unfair terms.

Despite appearing legit on the surface, this setup is designed to exploit the customer’s trust and lack of familiarity with the fine print. In our view, MyPapik.com, operated by Virtelix LTD, is structured in a way that prioritizes profit over transparency or ethical service. We strongly advise potential users to stay away from this platform and remain cautious of any similar services run by this operator.

The conclusion from our MyPapik.com review

Our review of MyPapik.com concludes with a clearly negative verdict. Operated by Virtelix LTD, this platform appears to be a scam based on a deceptive subscription model. The 7-day package is particularly misleading, as it doesn’t provide the minimum time required to cancel before automatic renewal, effectively trapping users into unwanted payments. This tactic amounts to a subscription rip-off. We strongly advise avoiding this website and exploring more transparent and trustworthy alternatives.
