Report for LocalsGoWild.com review
The online dating platform LocalsGoWild.com advertises with free registration, an intuitive interface, and many active members. But after we do some research, we find out that the site is a rip-off and cannot be recommended. The portal sends fake messages to its users to lure them into signing up for a paid membership subscription. These subscriptions seem difficult to cancel and might very well turn out to be a trap. The chances of finding a real-life date on LocalsGoWild.com seem extremely low, as the members’ area appears to be filled with fake profiles.
The operator of the site is Blue Vision, from Sofia, in Bulgaria. This company is well-known for various other scam dating websites. They receive many negative user reviews on the internet.

Details on the LocalsGoWild.com review
At first sight, LocalsGoWild.com looks like an excellent choice. The site offers free registration, advertises with promising matchmaking tools, a user-friendly interface, and a big member base. We decide to investigate a little further and search the internet for user reviews. Furthermore, we have a close look at the site’s terms and conditions. Unfortunately, we quickly find out that the site is a scam.
Excerpt from the Terms & Conditions (as of 20/05/2021)
We may from time to time offer users the ability to “Promote My Account” through Account Settings. Activating this service will mean that we will automatically broadcast custom messages created by any user, or selected from a default list of template messages, to other users. We reserve the right to select members to use the Promote My Account service.
Sugarcoated rip-off
At first, the “promote my account” service sounds like a great feature to increase the chances of finding a date. But in fact, this service is not used for the benefit of the users at all. The opposite is the case. The website reserves the right to send messages from and to any registered user account. From our experience, this is used to send enticing fake messages to new users. They aim to lure them into signing up for a paid subscription as quickly as possible. As these messages are not sent by real members, but rather by an automated system or employed fake chat operators, the website must be considered a fake chat scam.
As users are not sufficiently informed about the fact that these messages are fake, they are willing to reply quickly, to arrange a date. But to be able to reply, a paid premium membership is needed. Without a premium-subscription, the chat feature cannot be used at all. However, we cannot recommend anyone to sign up for these subscriptions. They extend automatically and might be difficult to cancel. Thus, users can easily end up in a subscription trap.
Operator with a poor reputation
The operator of LocalsGoWild.com is already well-known for this kind of scam. Blue Vision, which is based in Sofia, Bulgaria, runs various other scam dating portals. They have received numerous negative user reviews and complaints on the internet. Therefore, we advise everyone to stay away from every website run by this company.
The conclusion from our LocalsGoWild.com review
Unfortunately, LocalsGoWild.com turns out to be a rip-off with a fake chat. The operator of the site sends fake messages to new users, to lure them into signing up quickly for a paid membership subscription. As these expensive subscriptions renew automatically, they can easily lead into a subscription trap. Moreover, the chances of finding a date seem extremely low, and the site’s operator receives many negative reviews online.
