Unfortunately, all you can find here is another scam site run by Take Two Digital LTD from Paphos, Cyprus. The design of the landing page and the members’ area is kept simple and looks like it was made in a hurry. They both looked very similar to other sites from this company that we have evaluated in the past. We even recognized some of the profile pictures from other reviews. As a result, we didn’t have to look deep to find out that this site was a scam.

The rest of our short experience with Got2Meets.com was like any other with sites from Take Two Digital LTD. We found evidence for the use of a fake chat service and an expensive coin-based messaging system only meant to rip off its users. There were also many links to third-party websites which had little to do with online dating. Finding a person with serious interest on this platform is highly unlikely, if not impossible. This is not an online dating site, only another scam site to rip off its users.

A fake chat service

Shortly after we entered the members’ area of Got2Meets.com, we were contacted by several profiles trying to lure us into a conversation. Given the fact that we did not offer any information or pictures on our profile, this kind of interest was already suspicious. It looked like we were contacted by either a chatbot or by hired contractors of the operator.

Our suspicions were confirmed once we looked through the Terms of Use, where the use of system profiles was stated. This means that there is no real interest in our person but in our money because this use of a fake chat service is paired with an expensive coin-based messaging system. Physical contact with these types of users is therefore not possible.

Expensive messaging system

To be able to communicate with these no so real users, we had to pay 40 coins per message, since we only started with enough coins for sending two messages. After that, we would have had to buy more coins to continue our conversations. Since 200 coins cost $10.99 and 900 coins cost $59, it’s expensive to chat with users on this platform. The use of a coin system is rarely a sign of a serious dating platform, and this is also the case here. Our experience has shown that this coin system is only meant to rip off users.

Third-party fraud

Next to the fake chat service and the coin system, we also found many external links to third-party websites on Got2Meets.com. While it was stated in the Terms of Use that this website contains external links, they were not marked as such. As a result, we were suddenly directed to other websites several times while navigating through the member area, and they had little to do with online dating. Users must be careful with using this website if they do not want to land on another website for porn games from time to time.
