Report for FoxyCrush.com review

FoxyCrush.com claims to be the best place to find new people, flirt, chat and have fun. Prima facie, this dating portal appears a decent choice. However, our review clearly shows that signing up on FoxyCrush.com is not a good idea. The site is nothing but a rip-off with a fake chat scam. To send messages to other members, users need a paid membership subscription. But these subscriptions are renewed automatically and may very well lead to a costly subscription trap.

Besides, chatting here is a total waste of time and extremely unlikely ever to result in an actual date anyway. The members’ area is full of fake profiles created by the site’s staff and controlled by an automated, computer-generated system. So the supposed members are fictitious and cannot be met in real life. The fake profiles are used solely to trick users into signing up quickly for paid services. The operator of FoxyCrush.com is Lutetium LTD, which is based in Nicosia in Cyprus.

Details on the FoxyCrush.com review

The dating website FoxyCrush.com promises to be the best place to meet new people, flirt, chat, socialize and have fun. As the profile pictures on its landing page show extremely attractive women, the platform looks very inviting and promising. And registration is free and can be completed within minutes by following a few simple steps.

As always, we signed up, created a test profile and examined the features available. We also took a close look at the terms and conditions and searched for user experiences and reviews on the internet. Sadly, the results from our investigations are very disappointing. FoxyCrush.com turns out to be a rip-off with a fake chat scam.

Fake profiles and automated messages

Directly after signing up, new users receive numerous chat messages, which appear to originate from other members. Consequently, users are tempted to reply and start flirting as quickly as possible. But with just free basic membership, users cannot write messages in a chat. If they wish to reply, they are basically forced to sign up for a paid premium subscription first.

Reading the terms and conditions, we learn that the enticing chat messages are not sent by actual members, but by fake profiles. Here these are called “virtual profiles”. They are created by site employees and controlled by an automated messaging system, “chatbots”. As there are no real singles behind such profiles, it is obviously impossible to arrange real-life dates with them. In our experience, they are used solely to lure new users into paid services as fast as possible. So it is clearly a scam.

Excerpt from the Terms & Conditions (as of 28/03/2022)

Notwithstanding the foregoing, by and throughout your use, access and interactions to and with the Services and related content, You may interact with content generated by, or with the assistance of, automated online accounts (“Bots” or “Automated Profiles”), where none – or substantially none – of the actions and posts of that Automated Profile are the result of, or arise in connection with, a natural person’s profile or otherwise User Content.

Possibly a subscription rip-off

Aside from the fact that chatting here is entirely pointless, there is yet another issue bothering us. All subscriptions offered are automatically and continuously renewed. This is not always a bad thing, and not a rip-off per se. But as the site operator, Cyprus-based Lutetium LTD, is obviously not a trustworthy company, automatic renewal may very well be used to lead users into a long and costly subscription trap.

The conclusion from our FoxyCrush.com review

Our review proves that FoxyCrush.com is just a rip-off with a fake chat scam. The site uses fictitious profiles and fake messages to trick users into signing up for paid services as quickly as possible. But users are extremely unlikely to find real members or arrange actual dates here. Moreover, paid membership subscriptions, which are needed to use the chat feature, are renewed automatically and may very well end in a costly subscription trap.
