Report for ChatYou.com review

The dating platform ChatYou.com addresses all those men who are lonely, bored, and willing to meet women from all over the world. They promise that the days of boring pen pals where you had to wait forever for a reply are over. Here you will find ladies of all ages and nationalities who share the same feelings as you. Whether you’re looking for friends, a flirty experience, a long-term relationship, or a casual encounter, ChatYou.com guarantees to be the best place to start your quest.

The landing page of ChatYou.com welcomes all visitors with a catchy slogan. They claim to be the flirt portal that satisfies your wishes. In a world where it’s getting harder and harder to meet someone, this seems to be a great choice to get in touch with people looking for real feelings, passion, and new experiences. Unfortunately, everything that happens on ChatYou.com is fake. The majority of the profiles on this platform are fictional.

This is the classic fake chat scam, where people are tricked into thinking that they’re talking to a genuine member interested in an actual date. But the person on the other side of the screen is just a professional moderator that is trying to lure you into an expensive and pointless conversation. The company responsible for this rip-off is named Apptex Performance BV. They are based in Geldrop, The Netherlands.

Details on the ChatYou.com review

ChatYou.com presents itself with a landing page that doesn’t shine for its originality. This is a bit weird because this platform was launched quite recently. We scanned the internet searching for first-hand experiences from past users, but we couldn’t find any reliable review. It looks like nobody knows ChatYou.com nor its operator, which is Apptex Performance BV.

This company has probably just joined the long list of scammers that make a living by deceiving their customers in the online dating industry. The only thing that we found out is that they are from Geldrop, in The Netherlands.

How does it work?

Creating a profile on ChatYou.com is a simple procedure that takes less than a minute. All you need to provide to gain access to the member’s area is a few personal information and a valid email address. Once you’re signed in, you’ll be immediately able to browse through thousands of profiles of possible matches.

Within five minutes of our registration, our mailbox is already full of enticing messages from hot women willing to chat with us. This is highly suspicious. On an honest dating website, any newcomer has to put in a lot of effort to get some attention. This is even more true for an empty profile like ours that doesn’t have any picture. Therefore, we start to wonder if all these messages are coming from fake accounts. Because of our experience with similar platforms, we know where to look to find evidence of the rip-off.

Excerpt from the Terms & Conditions (as of 12/12/2022)

Apptex uses professional animators and operators for the entertainment of the Users, who are not identified separately in the system. This Service is provided in the highest quality. Real meetings are not possible with these operators. Users can only send them messages within the portal.

An expensive fake chat

ChatYou.com admits to employing professional moderators to create and manage fictional profiles. Despite the fact that they inform users about the fake chat, this is still a scam because these accounts are not marked as fictitious. Anybody on ChatYou.com could be a fantasy character. Therefore, we strongly advise you not to trust anybody. To be able to send messages, a member has to purchase the so-called “credits”. These are virtual items that can be spent on several paid services. Every message requires 50 credits, which equals roughly $2.

The conclusion from our ChatYou.com review

ChatYou.com claims to be the perfect place to connect with tons of strangers looking for real dates. Our review has proved instead that most of the profiles that appear in the member’s area are fake. Since it’s not possible to distinguish them from genuine ones, there is a strong chance to waste a lot of money to chat with a professional moderator that impersonates a fantasy character. Finding someone to meet in real life is almost impossible.
