Report on CasualDating.com review

The online dating platform CasualDating.com looks great. On the landing page, we see the image of an attractive woman. We also view the registration screen. Registration is free. And the process does not take up too much of your precious time. On the landing page, we read about how simple it is. What’s more, the website offers quite a lot of information. Admittedly, we might prefer slightly more details about the membership structure or the actual services on offer. But this website seems a legit choice.

Its advertising makes it sound great. We read about an extensive membership. And its community seems easy-going and friendly. It seems the perfect place to find casual dates in the States on the internet. But the operator claims you can find your true love here too. Well, now we feel a little suspicious. Usually, dating sites just occupy one category. Portals that claim you can find everything you could ever imagine usually tend not to be very reliable. Plus, there is more to mention.

This website claims you can find a match here to flirt with. It is possible to fall in love with your dream partner. But we read nothing about actual meetings. In our experience, this is very suspicious. It seems this website uses fake chat. The portal operator is United Performance LTD, which is based in Mahé, Seychelles. This company has a bad reputation on the internet.

Is CasualDating.com a rip-off?

Yes, the online dating platform CasualDating.com is not legit and is a cheeky scam. The profiles on this website are fake. A fake profile shows a fictitious person with whom a date in real life is not possible. Our experience suggests all profiles on this site are fake. Reviews on the internet agree with us here. The portal has a bad reputation. Additionally, the platform operator has a bad image.

This portal uses fake chat. Fake chat operators control the fake profiles on this site. Fake chat operators will get in touch with new members. They will take the first step. They will actively encourage us to join a conversation. While chatting, they will not identify themselves as fake. So they will not mention anything about moderation. They will also not admit they are acting the part of a fictitious person. Last but not least, fake profiles are not marked as fictitious content on this site.

In a nutshell, a user will not be notified that moderation is occurring. This is definitely proof of a rip-off with fake chat. Plus, there is more to mention. The operator does not admit the use of fake chat operators or fictitious profiles in the site’s terms and conditions. At first, we did not think we could find proof that these abuses occur. But eventually we read about ‘third party content’. So third parties control this content.

While using the website, we found sufficient proof to be able to state it uses moderated chat. We received a lot of notifications and messages as soon as we joined. It is important to mention one point here. We did not provide a single item of distinctive information about ourselves. Other users do not know where we are located, what we look like, or what we expect from this website. Additionally, we did not verify our account. We created an empty profile. Generally speaking, such a profile would not even elicit a reply from other users on other sites.

But here we were literally spammed. Within minutes, our inbox filled up with messages too quickly for it all to be genuine.  And these messages sounded like cheap fakes. Some supposedly came from members who wanted to meet us. Erotic fantasies were sometimes mentioned. Other messages contained really basic questions to encourage us to chat. This is proof enough of fake chat. And the profiles on the site are obviously fake. The descriptions of some profiles were inconsistent with their associated images. Plus, we recognized a few profile pictures that are often used on fake chat platforms.

The purpose of fake chat is to increase the operator’s income. Costs will arise after registration. A user has to pay to send messages. Because of this, the fake chat operators try to encourage us proactively to join conversations. While chatting, they will not admit anything about being fake; this tactic is aimed at stimulating as many profiles as possible to join chats.

Registration on CasualDating.com

On the landing page, we see the registration screen. Registration is free and completed with a few clicks. This website does not require a lot of information from its users. Well, it is a casual dating website. The site’s goal is not to arrange accurate, but instead large numbers of matches. Registration consists of just one step. We do not have to do anything else to register here. More information about ourselves is not needed. Actually, further information is not even asked for.

But there is more to mention. We did not have to verify our account. Generally speaking, this is a bad sign. Registration is too cursory, even for a casual dating site. Moreover, the failure to insist on account verification can only encourage fake profiles. In the end, we created a profile with no useful information about ourselves. And we did not upload a profile picture. Consequently, all other members will see is a new member with an unverified account. Surely, our profile will not receive any attention. If it did, this would be a hint of fake chat.

By the way, such a superficial registration process is not a sign of a reliable choice. The more information a website asks for, the better it is. Again, a casual dating website does not need a lot of information. But, if uploading a profile picture and a few personal details are obligatory, the quality of the site rises. In this case, the platform makes a terrible impression. We assume the members´ pool will be full of profiles containing no information. We also believe there will be countless unverified profiles that look fake.

Members’ area on CasualDating.com

After registration, we visited the members´ area. This is the first stop in our review. The members´ area is full of good-looking profiles. And the website itself looks great. Its design is modern and appealing. At the top of the platform, we see its various areas. The overview of the portal is good, thanks to its well-made design. On the left side, we see the search function, which we can use free of charge. On the right, we see all the notifications and messages we receive. We receive a lot of attention right away.

In the middle of the platform, we see the profiles on the portal. All show good-looking women. At first, we believe we have made the right choice. This website looks great and has countless members. Plus, its users are not only attractive; they are also very friendly. After just one minute, we received about 10 likes and several messages. This could of course seem promising and make a great impression. But it clearly all fake.

We did not upload a single item of personal information to our profile. There is no information other members could possibly like. And in the real world, an empty and unverified new profile would never receive this much attention. Usually, a profile like ours would not even elicit a response if we sent a message to another member.

The messages we receive come from fake chat operators. This is hinted at from several clues. First, some messages do not make a lot of sense. Basic questions are asked to encourage us to chat. Other messages contain erotic fantasies upfront. Yes, these messages sound great, but they are too good to be true.

This website uses fake chat. Third parties carry out the role of fake chat operators. They will actively encourage new members to chat. Their goal is to generate as many messages as possible. The user has to pay to send messages. While chatting, the fake chat operator will not identify himself as a fictitious person. Users are tricked into purchasing coins. Coins are needed to send messages. So the purpose of moderation is to increase the operator’s income. On this website, the use of fake chat is pretty obvious.

Costs on CasualDating.com

Registration is free for women and men alike. This website will charge its users afterwards for sending messages. No premium membership subscriptions are on offer. So there is absolutely no risk of falling into a subscription trap. Still, this website is not a good choice. It is still a cheeky fake chat scam. As there are no paid subscriptions, new members are free to do virtually anything. Coins have to be purchased to send messages.

But we were able to read messages. Well, this is a part of the trick. The messages come from fake chat operators trying to encourage us to spend money on this site. However, we were allowed to see all the profiles. It was even possible to visit each profile. This even works with an unverified profile, by the way. This reflects poor personal data protection. Your personal information is not safe here. We were able to read all the personal information of other users. Well, the profiles are fake anyway.

It was possible to use the search function and visit each section of the site. However, using this site is a waste of time. Purchasing coins is a waste of money. 50 coins are needed to send one message. We were able to send two messages. Included in our registration package were 100 free coins. After our balance was used up, we would have had to purchase new coins. Coins are offered in different packages. Payment can be made with a credit card only. All packages involve one-time payments.

In all, five different packages are offered. The smallest package contains 200 coins and costs 7.49 USD. This package allows the sending of four messages. So the price for sending one message is way over 1.00 USD. The biggest package contains 4,000 coins and costs 139.99 USD. That might sound like a lot of coins. But this package only allows users to send 80 messages. The price for one message is still considerably more than 1.00 USD. In our experience, the use of this website is very expensive.

Conclusion from our CasualDating.com experience

The online dating portal CasualDating.com is a rip-off with fake chat. Speaking from our experience, all profiles on the site are fake. Reviews on the internet agree with us here. Fake chat operators control these fake profiles. They will actively encourage new members to chat. And the use of fake chat is very easy to spot and expose. We receive countless messages after registration. First, this would not normally occur and is, generally speaking, a common initial hint of moderation. Second, some messages did not make any sense. Third, the profiles look fake to us.

Last but not least, it is not realistic that we would receive this much attention. We did not provide a single item of personal information or profile picture. But other users somehow liked our profile. We also received messages from attractive young women who wanted to meet us. Plus, we received positive feedback for our ‘interesting profile and image’. It was not hard to discern the rip-off. The website operator is United Performance LTD, which is based in Mahé, Seychelles. This company has a bad image.
