We decided to give it a try for our review, as our experience has proved several times that the reality behind the advertising may be completely different.

We found some hints of a possible fake chat with fake chat operators, as well as a potential subscription rip-off.

On the landing page, the company advertises that registration is for free. They could have added that “only registration is for free”. Because after logging in, we found out that any function requires a paid membership. Although this is not necessarily a scam, it is, definitely, irritating.

To gain more extensive access to the Service, including the ability to communicate with other Members, you must become a paying subscriber (Subscriber) and pay the relevant Subscription fee that is shown on the payment page within the Website.

So basically, without paying, the site will be of little use. The website offers a free trial for 3 days. But to get it, it is necessary to provide a valid credit card. This card will be precharged for an amount equal to a monthly membership. Nevertheless, they mention that it is possible to cancel this free membership. Unfortunately, we do not believe this cancellation will be so easy. According to their cancellation policy, the cancellation process takes 5 days.

For your convenience the Company operates an automatic renewal billing policy. (…) The Cancel Automatic Billing Renewal Request Form must be fully completed and returned to Customer Support at least 5 working days before the renewal date to allow sufficient time to process the request and to ensure the automated re-billing process is stopped for the next renewal term.

 All this looks like a subscription rip-off and a subscription trap. These kinds of scams are extremely common on dating websites. Most of the negative reviews that we read daily, referred to these kinds of subscription rip-offs.

 Fake chat

The photos of the members also look suspicious. Some look like screenshots taken during a video call, and some others look extremely professional. This is also a typical sign of a fake chat with fictitious profiles managed by fake chat operators employed by the company. In fact, we found a reference to these fake profiles in terms and conditions.

From time to time, the Company employees (or employees of its parent or affiliated companies) may create test dating profiles for the purpose of checking and testing the functionality of our Website and Service to improve the quality and user experience for its Users.

Finding all these facts during our review gave us a very negative impression of the website and the operator, VodFun Limited, located in the Isle of Man., and we believe it should be considered a scam.
