Report for TeaseDistrict.com review

The website TeaseDistrict.com advertises with free registration and promises that hundreds of new members sign up on the platform every day. The site is optimized for desktops, tablets and smartphones. But this is all the information that we could find on the landing page. We read the terms and conditions and the fine print at the bottom of the landing page to find out more. And, like for every review, we registered on the platform to see how it works.

The operator of this online dating platform is White Castle Design BV, and it is based in Zoetermeer, the Netherlands. This is not a good sign, as our experience with this operator has always been negative. The same has happened in this review, as we have found out that the platform is a fake chat scam.

Details on the TeaseDistrict.com review

The operator White Castle Design BV is well known and not for good reasons. We have written several reviews from pages run by this company. Until now, all the reviews have been negative. Unfortunately, TeaseDistrict.com is not an exception. The site is filled with fake profiles. And these profiles are posted by the operator. Therefore, the platform is a fake chat scam.

Evidence of a rip-off

There is a mention of these fake profiles at the bottom of the landing page. Here, we can read that the platform uses fictional profiles and that these profiles are for entertainment only. The operator explains that these profiles are highlighted with a heart icon. But our experience was different. We receive suspicious messages from profiles that did not have any distinction from any regular profile. Therefore, we consider this to be a fake chat scam.

Apart from this mention on the landing page, we also found a paragraph in the terms and conditions where we could read about these fictitious profiles. The operator mentions that the company may use these self-created profiles to send messengers to any platform user.

Excerpt from the Terms & Conditions (as of 11/08/2021)

The Company explicitly reserves the right to send Messages on the website through self-created Profiles. These are fictitious profiles with which no physical arrangements are possible.

A waste of money

The reason for using these fake profiles is simple. The operator tries to entice the new users to buy credits to answer the messages. The price of these credits depends on the package selected by the customer. Sending a message on this platform will cost between 1.59 USD and 2 USD. Therefore, a conversation here may end up costing more than a dinner in a fancy restaurant.

And the conversation will be tasteless and useless, as customers will chat with bots, any physical arrangement with these fake profiles will be impossible. There is a positive side. The payments are non-recurring, and therefore, the site should not be considered a subscription rip-off.

The conclusion from our TeaseDistrict.com review

On the landing page of TeaseDistrict.com, we can read that the platform uses fictitious profiles. Furthermore, we also found evidence of this fake chat scam in the terms and conditions. Unfortunately, our experience is that many customers will not read this information, and they will pay a lot of money for a conversation with a fictitious profile.
