Report on SearchingForSingles.com review

SearchingForSingles.com defines itself as the best-kept secret in the United States. They claim to be the best place to bring excitement to your life and start sharing your wildest fantasies with like-minded adults. The landing page doesn’t show any erotic content. It promises that a free registration is all that you need to get unlimited access to the service. This is just a long list of lies. You can only create a free profile, while sending messages to other members requires that users purchase expensive credits.

Regardless of how much you spend, you will never get the chance to meet anybody on SearchingForSingles.com. This platform is just a scam with a fake chat. It contains fictional profiles that don’t correspond with real users. These accounts are controlled by fake chat operators, whose job is to make you spend more and more money on the platform.

We have written several reviews about other similar websites run by the London-based company, Hellerman Ltd, who are responsible for this rip-off. They also have a nasty online reputation. Many former users have shared their negative experiences with this untrustworthy dating service.

Is SearchingForSingles.com a rip-off?

SearchingForSingles.com advertises with a great offer, but after extensive research, it turns out that it is just a rip-off. The fact that they provide misleading information about costs on the landing page is already a sign that this platform shouldn’t be trusted. They trick potential subscribers into thinking that they will never have to pay for anything. Quite the opposite, actually. The free registration is totally useless because it doesn’t allow you to communicate with anybody. In order to send messages, members are required to purchase credits.

When a website is not transparent about costs, chances are that they might be lying about something else too. We searched the internet and we came across several reviews from former users that complain about a fake chat scam. In the terms and conditions, we found evidence that SearchingForSingles.com is designed for just virtual entertainment. This means that the profiles in the member’s area are fake. They are controlled by professional chat operators who impersonate as real members.

As these profiles are not identified separately in the system, therefore it’s impossible to distinguish them from genuine ones, conceding that there are any. Therefore, you can never be sure whether or not you are talking to a real member. As clearly stated, SearchingForSingles.com is not designed to help you find real dates.

Registration on SearchingForSingles.com

To create a profile on SearchingForSingles.com, you must complete a simple sign-up form that consists of a few mandatory fields. All you need to provide is a username, a password, an email, your current location, and your gender. After that, you’ll immediately be able to browse the member’s area without having to verify your email address.

During the whole process, nothing is said about credits or costs. Similarly, the fact that it’s impossible to arrange physical meetings on SearchingForSingles.com is not mentioned anywhere. You can only find this information on the terms and conditions. This is why we couldn’t stress enough the importance of reading all the legal documents before signing up for a new dating platform.

Members’ area on SearchingForSingles.com

The member’s area presents itself with a clean and simple design. The absence of annoying external links is particularly appreciated. All the searching options are immediately visible. People living close to your location appear first. A green dot signals those users that are currently online. All the pictures of each member can be viewed with the basic free registration. A pop-up menu on the left side contains the links to the other sections. Here you will find your matches, your favorites, and your visitors. Some of these features have to be paid for separately.

Within a few minutes of our registration, we had already received almost 10 messages from hot-looking women that wanted to chat with us. Since our profile doesn’t even have a picture, all this attention is not justified. Clearly, all these messages are coming from fake profiles that are just trying to push us to buy credits.

Terms and conditions of SearchingForSingles.com

Extract from the terms and conditions from the SearchingForSingles.com website. Current status of the terms and conditions as of August 1, 2022.

The Website is offering a communication service with the goal to allow the Users and Premium Members to flirt with the Profiles, against a certain credit for each message. The Website is a platform for Users and Premium Members to communicate with the Profiles and is not intended to be used for physical meetings.

Costs on SearchingForSingles.com

Costs on SearchingForSingles.com originates from credits, which are virtual items that can be exchanged for messages and other activities that you can perform on the website. Every message that you send costs one credit. Credits can be bought in bundles of different sizes. Depending on which one you chose, the cost of a single message ranges from $0.80 to $1.50.

Payments can be made only with credit and debit cards. The company doesn’t operate any automatic top-up. Therefore, once you run out of credits, you have to actively buy more if you want to continue chatting. This is good news because there is no risk of becoming the victim of a subscription rip-off.

Conclusion from our SearchingForSingles.com experience

The landing page of SearchingForSingles.com implies that a free registration is enough to connect with thousands of singles that are looking for real dates. None of this is true. The basic membership doesn’t allow you to use any of the important features. In order to send messages, you will have to buy expensive credits, but this is just a waste of money. Since most of the profiles are fake, all you can get from this platform is a virtual erotic experience.

The company responsible for this scam is named Hellerman Ltd. This English dating service from London has already received countless negative reviews from former users.

❌ 100% Scam – Perfect Class Action Law Suit or RICO Case ❌
Sent 237 messages. 100% of messages responded to by BOTS always within 3 min, regardless if message was sent at 4am.
Sent messages like: How^Old^Are^You? to all and BOTS say, “I do not understand.” or “your keyboard has a problem.
This site is so bad that you should pull all the users together and let them file a Class Action Lawsuite and take them down.
In USA, it can be filed as a RICO Case whick will be really bad for them. I have enough proof on my system (response times,
message not understood because bots can understand symbols and my favorite, Typing out long messages in text editor, then
take a picture of the message at a slight upwards angle (that any human can read) and the BOTS will also say BS like, “Nice
picture of you”. I’m sure theirs a Law Firm that would love to make a shit load of money to do a Class Action on these ass-holes.
They have probably stolen MILLIONS OF DOLLARS from people by pretending to have lots of ladies when its ONLY the BOTS
that respond to you. Check the timing of any message you send and look how long it takes to respond – between 2-3 minutes.
Never sooner and rarely longer. 100% BOTS from what I can see so far. If we Class Action sue, we can have they Domain Name
    taken down forever by ICANN.

i was yesterday telling you my experience and i went back to searching for singles site and questioned them about what i had found and they deleted my account. that tells me they are guilty. i lost over 20 grand and didnt meet anyone. i feel like a fucking fool and left there with a broken heart.

  3. David Bentley September 14, 2023 at 12:47 am

i talked with a woman for a year and a half and never met the woman i was talking to. she always said she was to busy to meet me right now and that she was trying to get things caught up so we could meet. for 11 months all i heard was, soon. this is searching for singles im talking about. i left the site but i rejoined to find that woman again and i learned that if you went in to browse profiles that you could change the zip code to different cities and you would get the same 569 women in every zip code. i knew something was up then.

  4. Eric July 2, 2023 at 4:29 am

All the comments below are spot on, this site is 100% fake, not a real woman on there. Would it be so hard for them to actually create a site that worked the same way but had real people. They should be ashamed of themselves. But somehow I doubt they ever will be.

  5. Cory Keitz May 20, 2023 at 7:42 am

this site is a scam. every time I get more credits it shows up under a different name & usually gets declined by my bank until I say it was me making the purchase. none of the members I’ve communicated with even after months will not agree to meet

  6. Kenn May 16, 2023 at 8:50 am

green dot doesn’t mean they are online, it means they didn’t log out.
and when does a real person always return an answer within 2 minutes?

  7. Peter Dukoski April 19, 2023 at 2:22 pm

I learned quickly the site is a complete scam. Don’t waste your money. You can reverse any charges to your credit card by contacting your ban.

  8. Rich cullum February 26, 2023 at 10:54 pm

well just what I thought. but some of the things thay said did make me feel good.

  9. JB February 21, 2023 at 3:37 am

This should be common sense for anyone that’s been on any other similar type site that’s actually legit vs. this one.
Legit sites: You’ll receive up to several matches with a few actual responses within the first week or so at best. Provided you’ve completed the lengthy process of setting up a solid profile, pics, bio etc.
These sites: No profile pic or bio= 39 messages in the first 8 hours. All of which include provocative and or X rated messages/pics. Most of which came within the the first few min. of setup. LOL!!!!!
It really shouldn’t be a shocker that this is a SCAM! However, if you have been deceived, I feel for you and wish you the best of luck.

I’ve made an interesting “hobby” out of investigating dating sites since I got scammed in 2008. Your review of searching for singles is spot on. They are totally bogus and easy to spot when you know what to look for. Great job folks…

  11. JohnJacob January 6, 2023 at 2:50 am

Yep, I can attest to this scam. I have been operating with no profile picture and a very rude description. I have been inundated by very good looking women who state they are lonely and need me. I received literally dozens of requests to meet up with them now, just respond and they will send me their address. As soon as you call them out, they want put the brakes and get offended when you push them. They want to get to know you first., but the only thing they want to know is what you are going to do to them. I received photos or requests to chat from multiple profiles using the same photos, they were offended by the fact that someone was using their nudes. When I called them out about locations in my town they got hurt that I didn’t trust them.

  12. Arty Shenkman December 28, 2022 at 3:50 am

Ha The same shit with me these hot women were begging me to come over and have sex with them and I havent even posted a pic or shared anything. What a tool!

  13. Ed December 21, 2022 at 7:19 am

I knew something didn’t sit right when after a hundred bucks answering all these msgs from over 100 so called users that literally ask to come over to fuck them , but then they continue to not answer many of your questions, and you get nowhere with them.

  14. Lennon October 15, 2022 at 11:03 pm

I didn’t realize you needed to cancel ur account. Just figured if u don’t purchase any more credits thts thts. You know, but I wanna it’s really hard for me to tell because I get a dozen messages with in the short time I’m onsite. You can definitely tell fake ones say same things I mean how many ladies want hickeys lol. But I can ask to see something n I get the pic. With 200+messages its hard to tell. Only talk to hand full. Some advice would be great.

  15. Eric Moreland September 13, 2022 at 6:40 am

Searching for singles is as fake as this review is honest and true. I also found all the issues listed here and would not change a thing about the findings reported. Very sad but very true.

  16. Patrick August 21, 2022 at 5:56 pm

    RE: SearchingForSingles.com

Yes, “Searching For Singles” is a complete scam!
I changed my location from NY to TX to CA, and the same women came up.
Call your credit card company and issue a chargeback.

The company below probably owns a bunch of scam sites.
    HELLERMAN LIMITED
    29 Cooper Road, London, NW10 1BG,
    United Kingdom
    1 888 654-4513
    help@123whatcharge.com

In addition to the great suggestions in this forum, find out the credit card company they use.
    1) YourSocialWeb.com for the monthly membership
    2) eChatZone.com for email credits
    3) 123WhatCharge.com
    4) CCBILL
Call them; they will cancel the merchant account on ALL their scam sites.

  17. Rodger Smith August 20, 2022 at 11:54 am

In a word slapdick, meaning exchanging erotic pictures and empty promises of a hookup that’ll NEVER HAPPEN run from this site

  18. Bummed August 1, 2022 at 5:39 am

Yep got taken for a bunch in just 2 days I am in the cancelation process now. If not new credit card it is.

  19. DrAwkward July 31, 2022 at 12:09 am

Total scam. Avoid at all costs or it will cost you.

  20. Britt July 20, 2022 at 4:50 pm

I notice a lot of fake profiles. No way all the messages I receive are unique. I see a few decent profiles here and there and talked to one who didn’t make me spend money. Just be very careful on this site.

  21. Barrison Stone July 19, 2022 at 7:08 pm

  22. johnflanagan4390@gmail.com July 17, 2022 at 2:41 pm

I got a message from a woman that claimed to be from my town and said to come over today and she would get the condoms. I became suspicious when I contacted ‘ her’ because all she seemed interested in was getting me into a looping talk at $1.00 per message. When I asked her to name of the only pizza place in town, she texted back changing the subject and was ” hurt’ that I didn’t trust her. If you message this women who contacted you, they will immediately answer back even if it’s 2:00 AM. It’s definitely a boiler room where your message appears on the screen of a professional talker, trying to bleed out your ” credits’

  23. Stoney July 15, 2022 at 9:33 pm

One credit card co. said they’d help me, the second said ”No!” at first but will contact them and they have 5 days to fight this… I doubt they will but like I said.. there’s a chance to collect sum if this back…
“If Something looks to good to be true, then it probably is!!”
    Good Luck gentleman…

  24. Stoney July 15, 2022 at 8:57 pm

Guys!!! I left a cuppa comments already..BUT.. CALL UR CREDIT CARD CO. They WILL help you!!! Open a fraud claim & ask for a “Pull Back” or something like that..cuz there’s so many people filing complaints they’re gonna try and pull the money back! Right out of their accounts!! Or still issue you credits if you file a fraud case… If they won’t close your account on searching for singles.. redo your Profile saying well anything except what u had… I still keep getting texts but I don’t answer any of them and after typing threating letters to the site. they gave me 50 more tokens!!! lol… Like that’s gonna make it all better… They’re prolly all big fat english guys laughing at us & at the bottom of the Profile page is the companies information.. london uk.oh..btw..i was able to see 2 of them on their webcams..one was nude sitting there and looked like she had several jobs going on at the same time.. but it was Her, sum are real pros.. and do this shit for a living… They won’t close the account & the idiots STILL send texts even after I told them I knew they worked there or were independent sub-contractors w/the firm. Good-Luck..
    BUT FILE w/the Fed Trade Commission.& w/ur bank or credit card… !!!

  25. WeirdoMan July 13, 2022 at 7:42 pm

Might be good if you literally want to get off on erotic messages lol and use a gift card. Hahahha just harrassed the kernoodles out of the operators.

Or save that money and get some hookers lolz

  26. Mark July 12, 2022 at 5:22 pm

  27. Terry Clark June 29, 2022 at 6:38 am

Fuck!! Got me for over a Thousand dollars and i still got credits and they wont reply or refund. Can i file a fraud claim with my bank?

  28. Gary May 12, 2022 at 12:44 am

Don’t forget guys, that some or all of these ‘women’ could be guys just as well. Anyone who can carry on a sexy conversation. The ‘girl’ you’re talking to could very well be some fat, sweaty slob in a boiler room somewhere! They’re not girls that get breaks on their subscriptions, they’re people simply paid to keep you talking and buying credits.

  29. Chris May 9, 2022 at 6:43 am

Last week I was led down a rabbit hole. A “woman” flirted with me by text and sent me a link if I wanted to chat with her more. After giving my preferences on OnlyFans, I was redirected to Searching for Singles. I was dumb enough to sign up for that (free of charge). I became skeptical even at the beginning. Within an hour of me signing up, a bunch of “women” messaged me, some with racy photos.

Deal is, you can’t text anybody back without buying credits. Of course, I’m not going to belly up $4.49 just to send 5 text messages. After the first day or so, I received an avalanche of messages from different “women”. Unlike the earlier messages I received, these ones were all accompanied with a racy photo. They were also trying to entice me to buy credits so I could text them back. I think this was done on purpose by whoever is running the site.

Most of the photos of these “women” look genuine. You know, not official looking like you would see on a porn site. They look homemade. But using TinEye Reverse Image Search, I traced a lot of these photos back to a forum called ViperGirls. These images appear on a lengthy thread called Exclusive Photos Of Bad And Daring Bitches. One racy image that I received today was actually taken in 2016.

I started paying close attention to the texts sent. They’re often long and are littered with emojis. Sometimes you receive practically the same message from another “woman”, even though the wording is slightly different. I received one text asking if I was enjoying the snow and cold snap. It’s literally Spring and they’re talking about Winter.

When looking at a profile there’s a photo, username, age, and other minor information. Sometimes the photos don’t even match up with the ages. For example, a profile of a 43 year old woman is accompanied by a photo of a woman in her twenties.

I reported this website to the Federal Trade Commission. I didn’t spend any money on the site but I still wanted to report them for fraud. However, I don’t know how much the Feds would be able to do since the site’s office is based in London. I want to unsubscribe from Searching for Singles. I emailed them last week but I didn’t get a response back.

Note: The reason why I keep putting women in quotation marks is to emphasize that these are scammers I’m dealing with, not women.

  30. Thomas April 7, 2022 at 7:11 pm

    Yep, it’s a fake site

  31. Nick April 1, 2022 at 1:05 am

Do the woman on here get a discount or paid for chatting with you because they burn thew a lot of credits.

  32. Matt February 24, 2022 at 3:34 am

FYI to anyone that is thinking of trying this don’t. Exactly as the same thing in the previous posts happen to my friend and me. We decided to Screenshot the pics they send and most of the pics are from old pornsites.

  33. Phil February 19, 2022 at 10:31 am

Any one have any luck unsubscribing? They don’t respond to emails. I got someone on the phone and they said they canceled my subscription. I am pretty sure I sent them an email last month on that. Going to cancel my credit card and see what happens. I only subscribed to monthly billing

  34. Arturo S ponce February 10, 2022 at 5:46 pm

I just got on this date site two months ago and they cheated me to believe that the women were seriously wanting a date with me and I spent over $509.00$. Searching for Singles.com

  35. Tassos January 12, 2022 at 12:44 am

Been on here for awhile you get flooded with pictures of everybody that wants to talk to you when you talk to somebody all he wants you to do is keep spending money on this site it’s all a bunch of fake scam and bushit

  36. Mahlon Foreman December 9, 2021 at 3:06 am

I was thinking alot of the same that I have read here. Everyone of there first lines will be how they want you to come over right now or send your number right now and everything they want to do to you. Then once in conversation it’s 1 sentences questions to milk every credit possible out of you. They got me can’t lie. But won’t get me anymore. Going to try and figure out how to unsubscribe NOW!! Good luck fellas. May try one of the above sites yall suggested. Thank for the information BTW

  37. Casey November 15, 2021 at 11:05 pm

Yeah I noticed that I actually put I was seeking a man and later realized when I went back to update my profile and seen that and it was all girls not one single male on that site at all and I will not recommend this to anybody and I got ripped off think I was gonna be with a beautiful slit to mount and never even heard from her since then

  38. Anonymous November 1, 2021 at 10:07 pm

I tried it. It is totally a scam. I actually suspect that some if not all the profiles are bots. Also, even if you sign up as a woman looking for men, you still just see womens’ profiles and you get contacted by women.

  39. J. Bradley September 3, 2021 at 2:45 pm

I was contacted by a friend of mine. He stated that he signed up for this dating service called SeachingForSingles.com and within minutes he was flooded by text messages, and emails from at least 50 different sites all from Cypress part of the EU and London UK.
We decided that we would pick the profiles of 200 women based on location, published statistics, and whether or not the profiles included nude or racy pictures on the subject’s cover page.
Our budget was $2500.00 Reach out to every woman on our list. start and maintain ongoing conversations with them then ofter 5 days Ask for their personal contact information and a meeting in person, in a safe location. These locations included local coffee shops, restaurants, parks, amusement parks, museums, zoos, and other local attractions frequently visited by travelers and the local community. Not 1 person would disclose the information that we requested, Not one person would tell us anything about landmarks in the cities that they claim to live in, and not one ever showed up for the date.
Our conclusion of the study… Is the same as DatingSpot24. Searchingforsingles.com is in fact a scam. The site targets vulnerable men who are unsuspecting of the nefarious things that they have exposed themselves by signing up for these services offered on SearchingforSinlges.com.
