The online dating platform Mixxxer.com advertises with free registration and more than 1.5 million active members. The first impression is that the site appears to be an excellent choice. According to the landing page, Mixxxer.com is the perfect platform to find local swingers and sex partners in no time at all. Plus, the website is well-designed and the overall appearance is professional and trustworthy. However, as we read the terms and conditions and some user reviews on the internet, we quickly find out that these are all just empty promises, and that the site is a scam. In fact, it is highly unlikely to ever arrange a real-life date via this portal.
The following excerpt is from the terms and conditions
You acknowledge and agree that any profiles of users and members, as well as, communications from such persons may not be true, accurate or authentic and may be exaggerated or fantasy. You acknowledge and understand that you may be communicating with such persons and that we are not responsible for such communications. We do not guarantee that all user profiles are created by real people with the intention to meet or chat on our service. Some user profiles may be fictitious or created for purposes beyond our control.
No real sex dates, only a pointless fake chat scam
Shortly after the free registration, new users receive several enticing messages. As these messages appear to be sent by real people, users are eager to reply and make arrangements for the promised sex dates as quickly as possible. But to be able to reply, they must become paying premium members first. With the free standard membership, the chat feature cannot be used. But as we learn from the terms and conditions, the enticing messages are in fact not sent by real members, but by employed operators, who hide behind fictional profiles. The only purpose of these messages is to lure new users into paying for a premium membership subscription. Thus, users are tricked into expensive fantasy chats, which can never result in a real-life date.
The premium membership subscriptions are not only pointless and expensive, they also extend automatically, if not terminated in time. In our experience, this can easily lead into a subscription trap. Mixxxer.com has got a terrible reputation on the internet. During our research, we find numerous negative reviews of the site and its operator, Socialsoft Networks LLC, from Wyoming, USA. All in all, Mixxxer.com is obviously a rip-off and cannot be recommended at all.
