    Report for MegaHook-Up.com review

MegaHook-Up.com claims to be a perfect place to find casual hook-ups in no time at all. The site offers free registration, and the landing page is filled with erotic pictures of women. Unfortunately, after some research, the portal turns out to be a rip-off.

To get full access to the chat feature, a paid membership subscription is needed. But we cannot recommend anyone to spend any money on this site. The members’ pool is packed with fake profiles, which are created and managed by the site’s employees and chatbots. Therefore, it is basically impossible to arrange a real date on this platform.

MegaHook-Up.com is operated by Nautell Capital Ltd, who are based in Nicosia, Cyprus. This company is responsible for numerous other untrustworthy dating portals and has received many negative customer reviews on the internet.

    Details on the MegaHook-Up.com review

At first sight, MegaHook-Up.com might look like a perfect place to quickly find a hot local woman for a casual sex date. The site advertises with free registration and claims to be home to thousands of desperate housewives, who are looking for discreet affairs. As always, we try to find out if the website is legitimate or not. So, we read some reviews on the internet and take a close look at the terms and conditions. Unfortunately, the dating platform turns out to be a rip-off.

    Fake profiles and fake messages

Immediately after the free registration, new users receive a whole bunch of enticing chat messages. Hoping to arrange a date, they are willing to reply quickly. But using the chat is not free. Only paying subscribers get full access to the chat feature and are able to reply to incoming messages.

Reading the terms and conditions carefully, we find out that these promising chat messages are actually fake. They are not sent by real members, but by employed fake chat operators, or a computer-generated system, so-called “chatbots”. The fake chat operators hide behind fictional profiles, which are only created to trick new users into becoming paying subscribers as quickly as possible.

The following note is from the terms and conditions

You understand, acknowledge, and agree that some of the user profiles posted on this site may be fictitious or models or bots related to our "Love Stars" program. Our LS work for the site in an effort to stimulate dialogue with users and to stimulate user participation on the Website and Services, advertisement of the Website and Services, and the creation of user profiles. The LS also monitor user activities and communications to ensure compliance with our Terms and Conditions.

You understand, acknowledge, and agree that the information, text, and pictures contained in the LS profiles do not pertain to any actual person or member, but are included for entertainment purposes only.

    Possible subscription trap

Unfortunately, many users are not aware of the fact that it is impossible to arrange a real date here, and sign up for the expensive subscriptions. Since these subscriptions renew automatically, users can quickly find themselves stuck in a long and costly subscription trap. A rather terrible and expensive experience.

    Infamous operator

The operator behind this rip-off is already well-known for many other scam dating websites. Nautell Capital Ltd, who are based in Nicosia, Cyprus, always uses the same tricks to get as much money as possible out of their customers. Many negative reviews about them and their websites can be found online.

The conclusion from our MegaHook-Up.com review

Unfortunately, MegaHook-Up.com turns out to be a rip-off. It is impossible to find a real person for a date here. The members’ pool is full of fake profiles, run by fake chat operators and bots. By using enticing chat messages, users are lured into signing up for the expensive membership subscriptions, which are needed to use the chat.
