The result of our MarmeLadies.com review: Our test on MarmeLadies.com turned out to be an insufficient dating website.

The design on the landing page of the dating platform MarmeLadies.com looks very old-fashioned, and it is not even apparent that the platform was created for those users who are searching for meaningful relations with Slavic women. We are aware that there is a huge market for this kind of dating and start our research.

After reading all the bad online reviews, we think the dating platform MarmeLadies.com is a rip-off with faked profiles. Other members also talk about computer bots and artistic scams. It took us quite a time to find the operator behind the scam, even he tries pretty much to hide. From our experience, always a sign that something is fishy. The company is MARCO HK LIMITED based in Hong Kong and it is the first time we face them.

We learned that MarmeLadies.com is running since 2007 and it runs by the slogan “Marmeladies, the sweetest Russian girls”. Their market actually has changed through the years, but it targets mainly Russian or Ukrainian women. The portal is oriented to persons who are looking for serious relationships with Ukrainian or Russian women.

You can browse through several profiles and then send “kisses” which is a fast note for letting a lady know that you are interested. After this, you can either send or receive messages. A little disappointing point is that they charge for everything: receiving and opening messages cost. From our experience, it normally does not stop at high costs. We have a closer look, and we were right: This is by far not the only issue here - faked profiles on the website.

Faked profiles

The portal allows the user to browse for free in the profiles, and therefore we started picking random profiles and making a back-search on the photos immediately. No surprise to us that a lot of profiles turn out to be a model and their profile photos were taken from other websites. This fits the complaints we read from former customers.

During our research, we found out that MarmeLadies.com and the company behind it MARCO HK LIMITED have been involved in spamming to lure customers already in 2010. Other clients hired an attorney after they travelled to the ladies’ cities and they never showed up. Attorneys call this an artistic scam. The girls are creating professionally faked profiles by good photographers to attract clients in order to get money.

Anyone who says this site is legitimate is a Russian con artist who owns this company!!!!! Kick every Russian out of USA!!!! Letters are written by robots. I have two letters from the same profile where grammar is totally completely different.

The site is expensive and there is little to no contact if you have a complaint. Most of the ladies are on other sites, so it's hard to tell who you're chatting with. On other sites the ladies might be more risque and flirty, but here there is none of that.

There are lots of things that have been said about MarmeLadies.com and overall it seems to be one of the biggest scams running around. The member’s area is full of faked profiles and scammers as well the dating portal is using bots. Of course, we cannot recommend this rip-off. Not only our experience tells us: Stay away!
