The online dating portal LocalHussies.com looks promising at first sight. But we did some research and found out that it is a scam. This site uses fictional profiles which are managed by operators. They entice the user to get a paid membership.

A new member needs a premium-membership to send messages. First of all, that membership is not worth a penny as all chat partners are fictional. Second, the subscription for the paid membership will extend automatically, if it is not terminated in time. That appears to be a cheeky trap to us. The landing page of LocalHussies.com looks good. We see the image of an attractive woman and the information that the registration is free. On the homepage we read that here we will find people like us. Plus, the online dating website claims to make matchmaking easy and simple. So, it should only take a little bit of time to find a potential partner. We also assume that it will not take long to arrange a date via this site. The registration is free, and the creation of a profile does not take long. With only a few steps, this process is done. That means we can start to look for a match close to us, in just a few minutes.

This site uses fake profiles

On the first view this site looks great. But we did some research about LocalHussies.com and found a lot of negative reports. It turns out, that this site is a huge rip-off. The profiles in the members´ pool are fake. It is not possible to meet such a fictional person. That fact is unknown to the user. A new member of the site assumes that all profiles are real. According to the information we found on the internet, it is not possible to find one real person here. On the landing page of the site, we read about meeting people like us and close to us. In a nutshell, the operator of the site advertises with misleading information. The only thing that is possible are erotic chats with operators. Those control the fake profiles in the members´ pool. An operator has the purpose of enticing the user to spend money.

Costs will occur for a premium-membership

The scam starts right after the registration. At this point, a new member will receive a basic-membership which is useless. This kind of membership does not allow you to read or to reply to messages from other profiles. At this point a new member receives a lot of attention from others. All the attention comes in the form of messages. The many messages entice the user to get a paid membership to reply. That premium-membership is offered in the form of a subscription which will extend automatically. Usually, that does not mean it is bad in general. In this case we assume that the automatic renewal is used to trap the user. This membership is worthless as it is not possible to find a date on this site.

We also did some research on the internet. There we found many negative reports from former customers. It turns out that this site has got a bad reputation, and so does the operator. According to the information that we found this is not the only website the company runs. All sites from this company appear to be a rip-off.
