    Report for InstantCougar.com review

InstantCougar.com offers free registration and claims to be a great place to find exciting dating experiences with local mature women. But after we do some research on the internet and read the terms and conditions, the portal turns out to be a rip-off.

The operator of the site is Timespace Holdings Ltd, who are based in Malta. This company is well-known for its huge network of online dating scams. The internet is filled with negative reviews about their websites and services.

Without a paid membership subscription, the chat feature cannot be used. All subscriptions are extremely difficult to cancel and continuously renew automatically. Therefore, they unavoidably lead users into a subscription trap. Furthermore, the site uses fake messages to lure new users into the chat. Obviously, we cannot recommend anyone to register here. It is a waste of money and time.

    Details on the InstantCougar.com review

At first sight, InstantCougar.com appears to be a great platform to find local mature women, who are interested in meeting up for a date. The site advertises with free registration and claims to offer a safe dating experience. As always, we search the internet for user reviews and carefully study the site’s terms and conditions. Unfortunately, we quickly find out that the portal is a rip-off with a subscription trap.

    Fake message scam

Shortly after the free registration, new users will find some message notifications in their virtual mailboxes. But to reply and start a chat, a paid membership subscription is needed. In the terms and conditions, we find out that these messages are not sent by real members. They are created to trick new users into becoming paying members as quickly as possible.

The following excerpt can be found in the terms and conditions

We may from time to time offer users the ability to “Promote My Account” through Account Settings. Activating this service will mean that we will automatically broadcast custom messages created by any user, or selected from a default list of template messages, to other users. We reserve the right to select members to use the Promote My Account service. Sending of messages through this service will be free, however, recipients who view and choose to reply to a Promote My Account message, will require to have an upgraded Paid Membership in order to reply to the sender.

Ironically, the “Promoted Messages” service sounds like a great feature. It is intended to improve the users’ dating experience and increase the chances of finding a match. But reading between the lines, this clearly means that the operator reserves the right to send fake messages to and from any user account at any time. Therefore, it is a fake message scam, specifically designed to lure users into a cheeky trap.

    Subscription rip-off

All membership subscriptions extend automatically and are extremely difficult to cancel. They lead users into a long and costly subscription trap. Furthermore, the cheap trial membership, which seems to be a great deal, cannot be recommended either. The termination deadline and the duration are identical. Therefore, they cannot be terminated in time. They will automatically convert to one of the more expensive long-term subscriptions.

The company responsible for this rip-off is Timespace Holdings Ltd, based in Malta. This operator is well-known for scam dating websites. They have many negative reviews by former customers on the internet. Therefore, we strongly advise you to never sign up on any of their websites.

The conclusion from our InstantCougar.com review

InstantCougar.com uses fake messages to trick users into becoming paying subscribers as quickly as possible. Furthermore, all membership subscriptions cannot be recommended. The operator uses automatic renewal, tight termination times, and difficult cancellation policies. These can easily end in a costly subscription trap rip-off. Also, the internet is full of negative user reviews about the site’s operator and their scam dating portals.
