    Report for HottieMatch.com review

HottieMatch.com advertises with free registration and appears to be a great platform to find a matching partner for a date. However, after some research, the site turns out to be a rip-off.

Shortly after the free registration, users are lured into the chat with some enticing messages. These messages are fake and are sent by chatbots. The purpose of these messages is to convince the user to upgrade to a paid membership subscription. Without such a subscription, users are not able to use the chat, and therefore cannot reply.

All subscriptions renew automatically and can easily end in a subscription trap. The site’s operator is already known for this kind of scam. Cyberence Kft, from Hungary, runs numerous untrustworthy dating websites, most of which have received many negative user reviews online. Therefore, we strongly recommend you stay away from this company and their websites.

    Details on the HottieMatch.com review

At first sight, the dating platform HottieMatch.com looks trustworthy and reputable. The portal advertises with free registration and provides a lot of useful tips about safe online dating. But we have a closer look at the terms and conditions and read some customer reviews. We find out that HottieMatch.com cannot be trusted. In fact, it is a cheeky rip-off with a fake message scam and a subscription trap.

    So-called “promoted messages”

Directly after the free registration, new users receive some enticing chat messages. Assuming that these messages are sent by real people, users are eager to reply quickly. But to be able to reply, they must purchase an expensive membership subscription first. We learn from the terms and conditions that these messages are fake. They are sent by chatbots as part of the so-called “promote my account” service. As we see it, the sole purpose of these messages is to lure users into spending money on the site as quickly as possible.

The following excerpt is from the terms and conditions

We may from time to time offer users the ability to “Promote My Account” through Account Settings. Activation this service will mean that we will automatically broadcast custom messages created by any user, or selected from a default list of template messages, to other users. We reserve the right to select members to use the Promote My Account service. Sending of messages through this service will be free, however, recipients who view and choose to reply to a Promote My Account message, will require to have an upgraded Paid Membership in order to reply to the sender

    Subscription scam

HottieMatch.com offers several membership subscriptions to choose from, including a relatively inexpensive trial-membership. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend any of them. All subscriptions renew automatically and can easily lead to a subscription trap. The trial-memberships automatically convert to a pricey 1-month subscription. Therefore, we strongly advise you to stay away from these subscriptions.

    Bad experience with the operator

The site’s operator is already known for their fake message scams and subscription rip-offs. Cyberence Kft, is based in Csomad, Hungary. They are responsible for a whole network of online dating platforms, all of which work with the same tricks. Consequently, the company has already got many negative reviews about their websites on the internet.

The conclusion from our HottieMatch.com review

HottieMatch.com turns out to be a rip-off. The site uses fake messages to trick new users into becoming paying subscribers as quickly as possible. But as all subscriptions renew automatically, users can easily end up in long and costly subscription traps. Moreover, the site’s operator has an extremely poor reputation. They regularly receive negative user reviews online. We cannot recommend anyone to register here.
