The platform HotAndFlirty.com belongs to an extensive network of dating websites managed by Timespace Holdings Ltd. In the past, we have written several reviews about some of their sites. All turned out to be scams. We also found out the same for this review. This platform is a dangerous subscription rip-off.

Expensive and dangerous subscriptions

To chat on this platform, users must pay for a monthly membership. These memberships are expensive. One month costs $38.59. But the price is not the biggest problem. As usual, for our review, we registered on the platform to find out how it works. After registration, we were redirected to a payment platform. Here, we discovered that the operator offers a trial membership for just one day, at the very attractive price of only $0.99.

This offer looks interesting, but it is a subscription rip-off. All memberships here will renew automatically unless cancelled by the customer. Although automatic renewal is not always a scam, it is a dangerous policy here. In the terms and conditions, we read that to cancel any subscription, the customer must terminate it at least 3 days before the subscription expires. Although this may sound acceptable, it is a real trap. It is impossible to cancel a one-day membership with the conditions mentioned above.

All paid subscriptions automatically renew for the period and price that you signed up to. You may cancel the auto-renew feature to avoid recurring charges, but you must act at least 3 days (that is, 72 hours) before the next renewal date to avoid renewal.

Fake chat operators or bots

Apart from being a subscription rip-off, this platform also hides another scam. After registering we received a lot of suspicious messages. We cannot be sure if the messages were sent by the system’s bots or by fake chat operators. What we know for sure is that they were not sent by real people. It was not a surprise to discover this fake chat scam. It is quite normal to find both scams together on sites run by this operator. Unfortunately, we could not find written evidence for this scam in the terms and conditions.

HotAndFlirty.com is a subscription rip-off. In addition, we suspect that the site is full of fake profiles. Although we did not find written evidence about a fake chat scam, the messages that we received after registering were suspicious. Our experience with websites from this operator has always been similar. Therefore, we recommend avoiding any platform run by this company.
