Geek2Geek.co is a fake chat scam and a subscription rip-off.

Fake profiles send generated messages to the real members, to make them pay money for a premium subscription. Only premium members can use the chat and other features. Geek2Geek.co is operated by Shazbot LLC based in Miami Beach. The company tries everything to make the cancellation of the paid memberships as difficult as possible.

According to Geek2Geek.co, the dating site is safe, friendly, and easy to use. On the landing page you see photos of happy looking people. This makes Geek2Geek.co truly look like a decent and fair dating service. The reality looks somewhat different. The company does not intend to match the users with their fitting counterparts. Geek2Geek.co only serves as a platform to rip them off.

Finding reviews that give an opinion about Geek2Geek.co is easy. It seems that the site has successfully sent countless users into an expensive subscription trap. We noticed how many people were talking about the existence of fake profiles. In the terms and conditions, we indeed find a part referring to profiles of this sort.

The operator says the following

“From time to time, employees of the Company (or its parent or affiliated companies) may create test dating profiles for the purpose of testing the functionality of our Service and website processes to improve service quality for our Members. Unfortunately, the operator tries to ignore the cancellations as long as possible. There is an auto-renewal function that you must deactivate as well. Even after deactivating it, you will still receive bills for the upcoming months. This site is a clear subscription rip-off.
